Chapter 40

Niall's POV:

She's finally here.... with us. She seems fine with Mel, no tension so far. That's good right? oh i really hope nothing goes wrong, I don't think Melissa is the jealous type. C'mon Niall, stop thinking negative thoughts! what if something bad happens? Think good thoughts! Maybe if I stop thinking about, nothing will happen. Don't worry about anything, everything will be fine. Elena and Mel will get along just fine, Zayn seems to fancy Elena already; lets hope Elena fancies him also. We left the airport and now we're on our way to the cafe, I need my coffee!

Melissa: babe?

Me: huh? wha-

Melissa: I been trying to get your attention for the past couple of minutes.

Me: oh sorry love, i was thinking.... what did you need?

Melissa: still want coffee?

Me: Yes please.

Melissa: well we're here.

Me: yay! lets go get my coffee!

Melissa: you guys want one? or are you coming inside?

Zayn: I'll stay. Get me a Carmel frappacino

Elena: So will I. i'll have the same thing as Zayn, extra Carmel please and whip cream.

Me: okay, we'll be right back.

Mel and I get out of the car and we go into the cafe. I love this cafe, they know how I like my coffee.

Worker: Hi sir, how may I help you?

Me: yes, can I have 3 Carmel frappacinos with extra Carmel and whip cream, 2 pumpkin spice lattes with whip cream and 2 Ice decaf coffees, 3 blueberry muffins, 4 chocolate muffins as well.

Worker: Okay that's a big order so give me about 20 minutes.

Melissa: that's fine, take your time.

I watch the worker walk away, then Mel interrupted my train of thought...

Melissa: do you think Zayn likes her?

Me: Yeah, did you see he looked at her?

Melissa: yeah, it looked like he was in a daze when looking at her. I feel bad though.

Me: why?

Melissa: well yesterday at the candy shop, he sorta ask this girl there for her number and she rejected him, because she already had boyfriends and he was really upset.

Me: oh that sucks to be turned down.... i know how it feels.

Melissa: aw, you were rejected before?

Me: yeah, but it was so long ago. Nothing to think about.

Melissa: no tell me.

Me: well back in High school, i think freshman year; i liked this one girl and when I asked her out she said no, and i was upset for awhile but i got over it.... eventually.

Melissa: when was eventually?

Me: i don't know, but that's nothing to worry about.

Melissa: okay then.... ugh i feel bad, zayn and Elena are going to be in the car for awhile waiting.

Me: i'll go and tell them it's going to awhile.

When I said that, she nodded in agreement. I ran outside to the car....
