Back in Konoha things were in an all time panic as many civilians as well the shinobi's scrambled home to see the wife, children, husband etc.
New had spread like wildfire that Otogakure was destroyed as everyone assumed that the war would be over but Konoha had failed to realize the amount of enemies they had made with the other villages and now they were paying for it.
The rookies had decided to meet up at the forest where they had meet Natsumi in their childhood for some closure and to say goodbye.
(Scene Change)
The rookies stood in the same forest they had meet Natsumi in their childhood to reflect on how terrible people they were to Natsumi.
Huh, never thought I would be back here" Ino said with a bittersweet smile.
This is the place we had meet Natsumi and all of us became friends with her" Sakura said.
So where did we go wrong" Kiba said as he traced his fingers over a tree that had all of their names on it to symbolize their long lasting friendship.
We made a promise to have each others back and to think we broke that promise and didn't try to defend Natsumi when she was banished" Hinata said as everyone remembered back to the first time they meet Natsumi.

Ino, Choji, Shino, Sasuke, Sakura, Shikamaru, Hinata and Kiba were playing in the forest when suddenly out of nowhere a huge grizzly bear came out of the bush and began chasing them.
The bear began chasing the group until the reached a huge river and with nowhere to run the group stared fearfully at the bear that was going to kill them.
Cuddles what did I tell you about attacking random people" a voice said as the bear whimpered slightly as everyone turned around and saw.

You've been a bad bear cuddles so no fish for you tonight" the girl pouted as bear named cuddle pounced on the girl making everyone scream in shock.
Omg we have to do something" Sakura said as Kiba and Sasuke were about to fight the bear when suddenly they heard the girl laugh as they saw the bear was licking the girl face.
Cuddles stop your tickling me" the girl laugh as everyone could feel their hearts melt at the cute sight.
Finally after a while the girl got up as she looked at the group and said.
I'm sorry about Cuddles behavior" the girl said.
Troublesome, why did the bear attack us" Shikamaru asked.
Probably because it thought you were going to hurt it's babies" the girl said as she pointed to her left as everyone saw three adorable looking baby bears came out.
Oh and by the way my name is Natsumi Uzumaki, nice to meet you" Natsumi said with a friendly smile.
My name is Shikamaru Nara" Shikamaru said
My name is Choji Akimichi" Choji said!
M-My n-name i-is H-Hinata H-Hyuuga" Hinata said.
My name is Sasuke Uchiha" Sasuke said
My name is Ino Yamanaka" Ino said

My name is Kiba Inuzuka and this my buddy Akamaru" Kiba said as Akamaru barked in agreement.
So why are you guys in this part of the forest" Natsumi asked as she rarely seen any civilians besides the ninjas come to this part of the forest.
We were playing tag, what are you doing here" Kiba asked suspiciously.
Playing with cuddles, since he is the only friend I have" Natsumi said as she patted cuddles on the head.
Wait you never had a friend before" Ino said as she felt surprised and sad.
Nope, Cuddles is my one and only friend" Natsumi said.
Then do you want to be friends with us" Sakura asked.
R-really" Natsumi asked as she was surprised that someone wanted to be friends with her.
Sure, lets go play football" Ino said as she grabbed Natsumi hand and dragged her away.

We were friends until we killed cuddles in front of her" Choji said sadly.
We didn't even know why we did it" Sasuke said.
We took Natsumi for granted and now because of our foolish mistakes as well as everyone grudge for the kyuubi Konoha will be destroyed" Neji said.
Tenten and Lee remained silent as they remembered playing with Natsumi when she was in the orphanage but on Natsumi last day in the orphanage Lee and Tenten bullied her just so they can get adopted.
Wow I never knew the rookies would come here after you people killed cuddles" A voice said as everyone looked behind them and saw Natsumi along with Brianna.
