(Just a small filler chapter)
It was after the show where Hope and her father, Klaus, had watched the Glee Club perform for Invitationals. Hope and Klaus had only gone to cheer on Hope's friends Quinn, Santana, and Brittany, Hope's cheer team mates, and childhood best friends. Hope watched as they sang and danced with a woman in her mid to late 30s, and it was more than awkward. But one the old hag left, and Rachel Berry, the school's most annoying know-it-all girl, took her place, it was actually pretty decent.
Maybe that's what made Hope go down to the Glee room after it was all over, and talk to the director, Will Schuester, and convince him to let her audition to join. That and the fact most of her friends were already in the club.
So, as the club watched, waiting to hear Hope's voice, she took a deep breath and played the background music for her song. One of her favorite songs. Need You Now by Lady Antebellum.

"Oh my God." Rebekah said with wide eyes at how amazing Hope sounded at singing.
"That's just a country song, you should hear her sing other stuff." Brittany told them honestly as the others in the club nodded in agreement as Hope smiled to herself. She knew she picked right that day when she tried out, and she couldn't be happier with her decision.
"Oh my God." Kurt said, stunned, and just about everyone in the room nodded in agreement. Rachel was the only who didn't.
"Looks like you'll have some competition." Quinn said, giving Rachel a slight smug look before turning back to her best friend.
"Welcome to Glee club." Mr. Schuester told her and she smiled slightly with a small smirk mixed into her reaction as her fellow Cheerios gave her a group hug in congratulations.
