Prudence dodges a hit, getting put in a brief headlock. The man had grabbed her, held her in position for a few seconds before his clothes caught on fire and his arms and hands begun to burn.

She was getting tired, but her fire wasn't flickering yet. Every punch she landed burnt flesh on the person it was aimed at, and soon enough she was heavily breathing and there was only one soldier left.

She had no idea what was happening around her, especially pertaining to Sam, Natasha, or Steve. She hopes they're all alive, and she hopes none of them are hurt too bad.

The more she fought, the more energy she was wasting and the more of her powers she was using. It got the the point where she couldn't dodge punches anymore.

Most of them were aimed at her gut, and the soldier seemed to time the punches with the flickering of her fire. She finally landed a punch to his eye, burning the flesh and searing the front of his eye.

He screams, holding a hand to his eye. In anger he straightens, slamming her stomach with his arm, sending her over the border of the bridge.

She lands a few feet under the bridge on an overturned bus. The flames had gone out completely and she crawls to the end of the bus, dropping off the end of it and running behind cars.

She finds Natasha, standing next to her behind a car. Prudence was breathing heavily, her eyes were hooded, and her movements were slow and lazily executed.

Natasha sees this, "What did you do?"

"Burnt a bunch of people. You?"

Prudence eyes the bullet wound in Natasha's shoulder.

"Pissed him off."

Prudence nods, peeking around the car. She sees Steve send the Winter Soldier flying, "That's what I saw. Earlier. Like a few days ago."

The mask, discarded on the ground. Him righting himself. And he turns, and this time Prudence can see his face.

It's blank. There's no feeling or personality to his expression other than determination.

"Bucky?"

Prudence stops, looking between the Winter Soldier and Steve. A brief moment of feeling on his face, Prudence couldn't tell if it was recognition or something else. Then, the blackness and determination returns, masking whatever feeling he had previously let through.

"Who the hell is Bucky?"

The Winter Soldier moves to shoot Steve but Sam kicks him down, landing on the ground running.

Steve is frozen in shock, just staring at the Winter Soldier, who takes a look between Sam and Steve and aims for Steve.

Natasha runs for the grenade launcher, shooting it from her new spot behind Steve. It lands on the ground next to the Winter Soldier, and when the smoke clears, his body is replaced by a swarm of cars with blaring sirens.

A group of soldiers approach Prudence, their guns aimed. She puts her hands up, but in her absent standing she had regained some energy.

Because of this, her body envelops in flames in an effort to continue what she had been doing before wiping out her energy. Because this is seen as a threat, the soldiers slam her to the ground.

She groans when her nose smashes on the concrete and they bind her hands. They cover them with something, as well. They drag her up roughly and she spits blood from her mouth, only for it to trickle down over her chin again.

They roughly shove her in the back of a truck next to Steve. Across from her is Natasha, next to which is Sam.

"It was him. He looked right at me like he didn't even know me."

"How is that even possible? It was, like, 70 years ago."

"Zola. Bucky's whole unit was captured in '43. Zola experimented on him. Whatever he did helped Bucky survive the fall. They must've found him, and..."

"None of that's your fault, Steve."

"Yeah, you said you tried to grab him when he fell. You did what you could to keep him from falling."

Steve just looks away from them, at the feet of the soldiers by their side.

"Even why I had nothing I had Bucky."

Natasha leans her head back and blood trickles from her shoulder, "Shit, Nat."

Sam nods and looks at one of the guards, "We need to get a doctor here. If we don't put pressure on that wound she's gonna bleed out here in the truck."

The soldier pulls out a stick... of something. Prudence couldn't tell. Sam slides away from it, but the soldier spins it in their hand and stabs it at the other soldiers chest, then kicks him in the head, sending him tumbling onto the floor, unconscious.

The soldier takes off their helmet, revealing a woman, Maria Hill. Thank God, finally someone familiar.

"Ah. That thing was squeezing my brains."

She wipes hair out of her face, looking at the group. A perfectly untouched man, a woman bleeding out due to a gunshot, a supersoldier in distress, and a girl with a broken and bloody nose who's barely able to stay awake.

"Who's this guy?"

A/N - I feel like it isn't clear so this authors note will be explaining Prudences powers. So, she has the gift of premonition, woo hoo, we know that. She has enhanced learning abilities. When she chooses to, she can learn everything there is to know about an object or subject. She knows 5 languages because of this skill, not including English (French, Spanish, German, Greek, and Latin). Her other power is to manipulate fire. She can use this to make shapes and forms out of fire, able to create images and possibly show people her visions, and she can use it to envelop her body or specific parts of her body. Whenever something touches the enveloped body part it burns. Using her powers eventually exhausts Prudence to the point she can't stay awake. When she's using her fire powers to envelop her body and the flame goes out because of exhaustion, not by her choice, when she gains enough energy it will come back again. Like, she didn't stop it so it becomes the kind of default when she's energized enough.
