no ones pov:
The moonlight cast a gentle glow over Felix’s face as he sat silently at the edge of his and Hyunjin’s bed, staring out the large window that overlooked the city. His usually bright, golden hair had grown out, now falling messily around his face, as though reflecting the turmoil inside him.It had been exactly a year since Stray Kids became an official MotoGP racing group. A whole year of victories, fame, interviews, and the endless spotlight. Yet Felix wasn’t as happy as he thought he’d be.
He was supposed to be living his dream, surrounded by his best friends and his boyfriend, but something still felt off. That thought was starting to gnaw at him, tugging at the corners of his mind, and no matter how much he tried to push it away, it kept coming back.
He sighed, running a hand through his hair, his fingers lingering at the back of his neck. That’s when he heard the bathroom door creak open. Hyunjin had just finished up an art piece, and after a quick shower, he stepped into the bedroom, the warm steam trailing behind him. He spotted Felix’s silhouette immediately, illuminated by the soft moonlight.
Without a word, Hyunjin crawled across the bed and wrapped his arms around Felix’s cold body, pressing a gentle kiss against the side of his neck.
“What’s wrong, sunshine?” he whispered, his voice soft and comforting.
Felix shook his head, not trusting his voice to speak. He leaned back into Hyunjin’s embrace, finding solace in his warmth. Hyunjin didn’t push him, didn’t press for answers. Instead, he tightened his grip, pulling Felix onto his lap and resting his chin on Felix’s shoulder as they both gazed out the window together.
“You don’t have to talk about it if you don’t want to,” Hyunjin murmured after a few minutes.
“But if you do, I’m here. Whatever it is, we’ll figure it out.”
Felix let out a deep sigh, the tension in his body slowly beginning to unwind now that Hyunjin was close. He turned his head slightly, his lips brushing Hyunjin’s collarbone before nuzzling into his neck.
“I just… I don’t know, Hyunjin. I thought this would make me happy, being a famous racer, being in the spotlight, but it’s so… tiring. I miss being normal. I miss the quiet.” Hyunjin nodded, his hand soothingly running up and down Felix’s back.
“I get it. It’s been a lot. And maybe none of us knew how overwhelming it would get.”
“I feel like I’m losing myself,” Felix admitted, his voice barely above a whisper.
“It’s like… the more I’m out there, the more I have to put on this act. I just want to be me. Just Felix.”
“I know, luv,” Hyunjin whispered, pressing another kiss to Felix’s hair.
“You don’t have to be anyone but yourself when you’re with me. We’ll figure out how to make this work. We’ll talk to the others. You’re not alone in this, okay?”
Felix simply nodded, his head resting against Hyunjin’s chest, feeling a sense of relief for the first time in days.
Meanwhile, across the hall, Minho and Jisung were huddled up in their bed, binge-watching “Sweet Home.” Jisung laid sprawled between Minho’s legs, his head resting comfortably on Minho’s chest, but he couldn’t sit still. His fingers kept tapping anxiously against Minho’s side, and his leg kept twitching.
