No ones pov:
Once breakfast was over, Chan stood up, stretching.“Alright, now that we’re all fueled up, how about we hit the rooftop pool? It’s the perfect way to start the day.”
A chorus of agreement followed, and everyone scattered to get changed into their swim trunks. They made their way up to the rooftop, the warm sun already shining brightly. They stood by the edge, peering into the crystal-clear water.
“I’m jumping in first!” Jisung declared, only to be pushed gently aside by Felix.
“Not if I get there first!” Felix teased, and before Jisung could react, Felix cannonballed into the pool, water splashing everywhere.
Jisung groaned, shaking his head.
“You’re such a show-off.” But he jumped in right after, and soon enough, everyone was in the water, splashing and laughing.Well, everyone except Minho, who stayed on the sidelines, carefully laying out a towel on a sun chair and applying sunscreen with a meticulousness that was almost impressive.
“You’re not getting in?” Jisung called out, swimming over to the edge of the pool and resting his arms on it, looking up at Minho with a playful pout.
“I don’t swim, remember?” Minho reminded him, raising an eyebrow.
“Come on, just for a little bit?” Jisung coaxed, his voice soft.
“I promise I won’t let go of you.”
“You’re not going to stop until I do, are you?” Minho rolled his eyes but couldn’t suppress the smile tugging at his lips.
“Nope,” Jisung replied, his eyes twinkling.
With a sigh, Minho stood up and cautiously dipped his toes into the water, immediately flinching.
“It’s cold.”
“It’s fine once you’re in!” Jisung encouraged, extending a hand.
“Trust me?”
Minho hesitated but eventually took Jisung’s hand, letting himself be pulled into the pool. True to his word, Jisung didn’t let go, keeping Minho close as he adjusted to the water.
“See? Not so bad, right?”
“Yeah, yeah. Just don’t let go.” Minho huffed but leaned in to rest his head on Jisung’s shoulder.
“Wouldn’t dream of it,” Jisung whispered, pressing a quick kiss to Minho’s cheek.
On the other side of the pool, Seungmin and Changbin were in the middle of a splash war, laughing so hard they could barely keep their eyes open.
“You’re gonna get it!” Changbin warned, lunging toward Seungmin, who quickly swam away, giggling.
“You’ll have to catch me first!” Seungmin called back, sticking out his tongue.
Meanwhile, Felix had wrapped his arms around Hyunjin from behind, resting his chin on his shoulder.
“I’m glad we did this,” he murmured.
