What is a blessing and how you recognize it? It is the question many people ask from themselves as well as others. Everyone has their own definition of blessing. The thing they lack, they will call it a blessing or the thing that is too far away from their hold they will call it a blessing. Religion defines it differently, society defines it differently and spirituality? Well, it will always describe suffering as a blessing.
People who don't have money will call it a blessing. People who don't have love will call it a blessing. People who don't have resources will call it a blessing. People who don't have meal three times will call it a blessing. People who don't have flawless skin will call it and perfect bodies a blessing. A different lacking gets the name of blessings.
What if when you have everything like me? I have everything, you name it and I have it. I am Jeon Jungkook, I was born in a rich family that acquired generational wealth from many centuries.
As soon as I started to walk, I was told about the greatness of my forefathers who have been rulers of the state we live in Korea. My grandmother would tell me stories of the greatness of my grandfather and I will listen to them with proud.
I was a second born in my family. I have an elder sister. She is a dad's girl and me? Well, I am a mama's boy. No, not in that sense. In a sense that I always followed her. I wanted to become like her elegant, calm and motherly and my sister wanted to be like dad, dominant, composed and bossy. So, being the youngest and only son, I was apple of everyone's eye. My dad loved me too, he still does like alot.
I was never refused of anything. Well, if I say that I wasn't familiar with the word refuse then it wouldn't be wrong. It was like it never existed in my dictionary or the environment I lived in. Till highschool, I went to top institutions of the country and had excellent tutors to help me with my grades and not to mention, I was an exceptional student. I was exceptional in many ways, brain, beauty, status and behavior. Any one would die to be me.
"I want it to be pink and white...", this was the exact line I spoke seeing my fifteenth birthday decorations. My father had prepared it as a surprise spending a huge amount of money, I didn't like it. It was golden and mint. With money taste doesn't always come. So, he made it all change in a tight span of two hours. Otherwise he knew that I would not attend. It is not that I am a total brat, let's just say I got the fashion taste from my mom.
Well, my eighteenth birthday was no less than the birthday of a king many people attend and I didn't know ninety percent of them. I remember I had a huge pile of gifts that covered half of my room. Although more than half of them were trashy with not my taste, I felt generous and distributed in my staff. Oh yes, I have staff. Well, not much than three people a styler, my caretaker and a driver.
Let's just not deviate from the topic. My eighteenth birthday was not just a birthday it was my social debut. Like I was on the market to be accepting courting proposals. I knew my role that I have to get marry to someone from my status and class to brighten up my family name. I can't disappoint them right? This was how I was brought up. My every need was met and in return I was taught how to make you family proud.
