It had been over a year and half since the division of the Avengers and only a month and a half since the destruction of Asgard.
Currently, Loki was setting things up for the mission Heimdall had given them. The Mischief entity was very determined to see it through.
The all seeing guard had filled Loki, Thor, and Bruce in on the internal battle between the heros. Needless to say, the three of them were on Lady Antoinette's side.
Who was captain America to decide he knew better than 117 countries?
Not to mention the state the man out of time left the Stark Heiress.
Thor almost destroyed the ship that carried what was left of he Asgardians.
"Where is Lady Antoinette?" Thor asked his siblings impatiently
Loki sighed, "As I told you, Brother, Lady Antoinette, Lady Juniper and the rest are falling. I did to them what the wizard did to me." They replied
Bruce tilted his head, "A wizard?" He asked
The Mischief entity snapped their fingers and a portal opened up. 19 people fell out screaming.
Not pausing to check to see if her reactor was damaged from the fall, Toni stood up and looked for her daughter and the two boys that were basically her sons at this point, "Are you hurt? Are you okay?" She asked the three of them
June nodded, "We're okay Mama."
The two boys nodded in agreement.
The Stark Heiress then looked to the other members of her family, "Rhodey? Maria? Sharon? Are you guys okay?" She asked
All three of them nodded.
Steve, Barton, and Romanoff's attention, however, was elsewhere.
"Phil?" Barton and Romanoff asked in unison
Juniper scoff, "And you two call yourself spies. Mama and I have known that Uncle Phil was alive since the Fall of Shield."
The Rogue Avengers all looked at Toni with resentment, anger, disgust, or a mixture of all three.
"What did you do, Stark?" Maximoff asked bitterly
However, before Toni could answer, Loki cut in, "It was not Lady Antoinette that brought you all here, witch. It was I." They replied
Barton scoffed, "You? Why?"
"To watch the life of Lady Antoinette of course." They answered as if the answer was obvious
The Rogue Avengers started voicing their displeasure loudly.
Toni paled as she took in Loki's words. To distract herself, she looked around her.
There was Juniper, Peter, and Harley crowded around her. Behind her was Rhodey, Maria and Sharon. Next to them was Coulson, May and Daisy.
Loki, Thor, and Bruce were in the middle of the room. Stephen Strange and T'Challa we're standing not far from them.
Lang, Wilson, Romanoff, Barton, Barnes, Rogers and Maximoff the furthest away from her.
Thank Thor.
"Lady Antoinette, Lady Juniper," Thor greeted with a smile, "I have missed the two of you."
The Stark woman smiled back and then frowned as she looked at him closer, "You're missing an eye."
The Thunder God nodded, "My sister took it right before she destroyed Asgard."
Toni didn't really have a response to that because what could she say?
Loki looked bored, "Are you finished?" They asked Rogers, Barnes, Maximoff, Barton, Wilson, and Lang, "If so, sit down so we can get started."
Though the grumbled, everyone complied.
"Why are we watching my life?" Toni finally asked
The Mischief entity blinked a few times until they finally responded, "Heimdall saw your future. He tasked me to prevent it. In order to prevent what he saw, the Avengers needs to be united."
She squinted her eyes at them. How they worded that was vague and unconvincing.
She knew Heimdall was all-seeing and all-hearing but seeing the future was something else.
What could Heimdall have saw that-
Realization then dawned on her.
"I die in the future." She stated, "That's what Heimdall saw and is trying to prevent."
Her family let out cries out despair at the news of her future death.
Loki nodded, looking solemn, "You die." They confirmed
Thor gently patted her on the shoulder, "Worry not, Lady Antoinette. That is why my sibling has gathered us all. So that we may prevent your death."
She didn't have an reply for him as the lights dimmed down.
