Chapter 3

Hook's pov:
As soon as the ballroom class concluded, I swiftly extricated myself from Bridget's embrace and hurried out of the ballroom. My urgency was palpable as I made my way through the grand hall, my mind set on reaching the Black Lagoon. The promise of a quiet moment by the water spurred me on, and I quickened my pace, eager to escape the constraints of the class and find solace by the lagoon.

The Black Lagoon is a dark, foreboding body of water surrounded by an ominous atmosphere. It features murky, black water that creates a sense of mystery and danger. The lagoon is nestled within a dense, shadowy forest or jungle, with twisted trees and dense foliage that add to its eerie and secluded feel. The overall setting is designed to evoke a sense of unease and intrigue, aligning with the darker, magical themes of the story.

I reached into my pocket and retrieved the whistle that Uliana had given me, intending to use it to unlock the entrance to the lair. I lifted the whistle to my mouth and blew into it, producing a low, resonant hum. As the sound echoed, stones began to emerge from the water, forming a path. I stepped onto the stones, making my way into the lair to join the other VKs.

As soon as I stepped into the lair, a gruff, authoritative voice cut through the dim light. "Hook, where have you been?" Uliana's voice boomed, her eyes narrowing as they locked onto me. I sighed softly, trying to maintain my composure. "I was at dance classes," I replied, but before I could continue, Morgie's curious tone interrupted.

"With who?" Morgie asked, his interest piqued.

"Brid-" I started, but I was immediately cut off by Uliana's sharp, dismissive tone. "That unicorn vomit?!" she exclaimed, her disdain palpable.

Under normal circumstances, I might have found her comment amusing and agreed with her, but today was different. I felt a surge of frustration that I couldn't easily suppress. "Don't call her that!" I snapped, my voice more intense than I intended.

Uliana rolled her eyes and let out a derisive scoff. "Oh, please," she retorted with an air of superiority. "I'll call her whatever I want. Now, let's go. I'm sure she's busy handing out cupcakes or whatever now."

With that, Uliana led us out of the lair, her mockery echoing through the corridors as we followed her. Her dismissal and the way she belittled something important to me only fueled my irritation, and I couldn't shake the feeling of resentment that lingered in the air.

As we arrived in the courtyard, we saw Bridget and Ella distributing cupcakes while singing cheerfully.

At that moment a bunch of kids got off the table we were sitting on as my pirates covered us before we came out

Bridget finished as she held the cupcake tray she was holding out to Uliana while she grabbed one "Thanks..." "Oh no problem!" "For all of them"
Uliana finished as she grabbed the tray using one of her tentacles "I mean flamingo feathers are like, super rare right?" "Hey! Give them back!" Ella called out as she stepped forward "I'm sorry, I don't speak peasant girl. I love your outfit by the way, just so...put together" She mocked as she slid out one of her tentacles to tear one of her sleeves making me and Morgie laugh while Maleficent and Hades were in the back doing lovey dovey shit or whatever.

(This isn't gonna be very descriptive btw)
Uliana plucked the feathers out from the cupcakes about to eat them "Wait! That's too many..." Bridget warned in a cautious tone Uliana just rolled her eyes at this and ate them anyway "You are just jealous, of my fabulousity. Ok? You can't handle my BHAH" she gasped as pink feathers came out of her mouth "what was that?!" She started shrieking. "You alright Uli? You're looking a little...pink" I chucked not being able to resist teasing her "Shut up!" She shouted as more feathers came out her mouth "What's happening to me?!" Were her last words before she fell to the ground "will someone help her?" Fay stepped forward "Yea someone should help her" Hades suggested as Maleficent hit his chest giving him a 'are you serious' look while Morgie rushed to try to help Uliana. When she got up he face had turned into a flamingo as she glared at Bridget before she started chasing after her as Ella dragged Bridget running with her "I tried to warn you!" "Bridget run!"

Me and Maleficent took a different path blocking the other way out "Hello darling!" Bridget squealed walking along the edge of the fountain as I spoke to Ella "I just want to have a little chat with your friend" I pointed my hook to Bridget mockingly "Bridget look out!" Ella yelled as she pulled Bridget down while Uliana fell into the fountain. Bridget and Ella escaped while Uliana re-surfaced looking around with fear in her eyes as she scrambled out of the fountain quickly "where's Bridget?! I will destroy her!" She shrieked "Tell Bridget this isn't over!"

A/n:Long chapterr (mainly cause of the song) but anyways the real story is about to begin and I personally can't wait to start writing<3 I don't think the fanfic will be too complicated it will be quite straightforward, hope y'all like it so far!
