Chapter 3: Weekend Hang Out

Cosmo's POV

Ah, what a great day in the Saturday morning but... I have nothing to do so, I tried to make think of my own original recipe but... oh uh, not enough ingredients oh dear... I read a recipe book and I feel so unmotivated eughhhh I don't like this anymore... I watched few videos but nothing can help me augh.... I can only talk to myself in front of my vanity mirror about some random shits or some of the confession that happened to few weeks ago to myself, even there's no one with me. Oh god... Cosmo... Think... Think...! Something to cure the boredom...! Other toons are busy... and- RING RING RING!!! The telephone is ringing Oh well... I guess someone is calling me but who could be...?

"Oh hi, Cosmo speaking."
"Hey there! It's me Sprout, are you available today-?"
"Y-yea... but eugh... I'm bored... I have nothing to do in my room, only thing to do is talking in front of my vanity mirror... I tried to think of my secret original recipe but I don't have enough ingredients to make one thought, but shh... Uhh... This is a secret... I don't let anyone's know what am I making..."
"Oh, alrighty. Ahem... Eh... Do you want to hang out with me right now...? And in the evening, I have a surprise for you."
"R-really...?! Sure!!! And what surprise are you talking about...?"
"Eh... You will find out about that later pal..."
"... Okay then... But I can't wait tho, but cya later Sprout...!"
"Cya Cos I'm coming!"

Cosmo hanged up the phone

Meanwhile
Sprout's POV

Wait... let me prepare some small gift for him and... For myself... And oh wait...! My scarf...! I have to always wear that outside, but I can't wait...!

3 minutes later...

Cosmo's POV

Hmm... Eugh... I should wait him to coming, maybe should I take a nap or- Knocking sound from the outside Wait... he's there's already...? Wow how fast... Cosmo open a door and... it's very Sprout...!

"Hi again Cos! Do you want to go somewhere?"
"Uh... I have to go buy some ingredients in the mall but still it's a secret though..."
"Oh alright then, let's go"

Later outside
They having a conversation while they walking to the mall.

Later again...

Sprout's POV
Exercising is good for you, y'know? That's why I am a speedy strawberry..!* (half joke actually) I decide to take him to grocery store just because he needs some "secret ingredients"... Hm... Interesting... But at-least Cos didn't know that I have some gift for him.

1 hour later

Wow... that's a lot but pretty worth it...! After that, we decide to talk something funny in the coffee shop (- we sit near the window, and of course he ordered Frappuccino, his favorite, and I order strawberry frappe, I am such a guilty for eating or drinking my relatives but just kidding *chuckle* it's pretty normal though) that I want to boost his mood up, I just want to make him happy especially to make his life better than before, I give him some few advises to him.

Time skip

Its evening after dinner, we decide go to the park... Ahem... You will find out what it is...

Cosmo
It was so fun tho and many hours later, he take me to the park, then he will "surprise me" apparently I guess so...-

"Cos I have a surprise for you"
"Yea... I know... B-but what is it...?" I was so curious and sort of dumbass.
"Eh... Just take a few guess okay?"
"Alright... so it is my favorite dessert...?"
"Nuh uh uh!"
"Eugh... it is... ugh... I don't know it's too hard to guess... even it's a small package of this gift." Uh... I just give up I guess so I let Sprout to revealed it
"Alright then, close your eyes and open it." then I closed my eyes and I slowly open the package... and then...

...

Then I opened my eyes, I surprised. I can't believe what I saw...

"Woah...! Sprout you made this...?"
"Yup! Of course! I made this by myself alone...!"
"So is this matching bracelets...?"
"Ding! correct pal, it is our matching bracelets with magnetic silver flower, the brown one with multicolor is for you, and the red one with dessert is for myself...! I named it "Sweet Charm" and "Savory Charm," what do you think, Cos...?"
"It was... AWSOME!!! Thank youuuuu Sprout...!"
"You're welcome Cos, we're not just friends. We are best friends for now... You mean so much to me... As a best friends. I don't want you to be alone... Whenever I see you smiled... It's make me feel so happy and I feel so humbled about this, you're the nicest toon i've ever met entire life... You can ask me anytime if you need help..."

and... Sprout gives me a big hug... I was so graceful about that... And... I slightly shedding my tears of happiness, I feel safe for now... Not alone anymore... I should hang out with him as usual...

"Oh yea tomorrow I also have a gift as well but I'll show to you afternoon."
"Alrighty Cos."
"Also once again, thank you for being with me today."
"You're welcome, anytime-!"

I loveee my bracelet that he made us for me, how I love how it matches my appearance hehe...! especially Sprout's bracelet too...! they looked pretty cool, y'know...? After that he send me back to my room and say goodbye to him, and I am so exhausted right... N-now...! but first I need to prepare my ingredients first for tomorrow, just a big surprise... hehe... I hope he will liked it... And it's time for me go to bed... yawns... Well... goodnight, can't wait...!

Sprout's POV
Wow... I was so happy that Cos liked it he bracelets that I made,  but ahem... Still wonder what his gift about... Oh well... Maybe I should think about that later well, it's time for me to sleep...!
