[ Third Person Pov ]
“Luckily, I have a pal over at check in.”
For a minute Jieun forgot about her fright, glaring at the taller with the most criminal offensive side eye ever. He genuinely looked like the kind without friends and even if this 'pal' was real, it was probably a poor victim he scares too. “You? Like you seriously have a friend?” she irked a brow at him, amused.
“I have friends,” Seungmin pouted, genuinely offended by her comments. “What do you think I am?”
“I'm sorry,” Jieun broke into a full on laughing fit, unable to control her titters, the look on his face only worsening the case. “I'm so— so sorry, Cupid.”
“I'm gonna drop you.”
“What? No! Please!” The brunette clinged onto Seungmin tighter, her arms wrapped firmly around his shoulders. “I'm sorry, please,” Jieun buried her face in his shirt, her legs wriggling out of fright.
She had barely caught a glimpse of the place he had referred to as love haven, missing the how the silver light glistened from the distance, lining the pretty pink clouds that spread vast across the environment, even the huge golden gate in front of them wasn't acknowledged, for she thought keeping her eyes shut would derail her mind away from the height.
“Unless you agree I have friends.”
Jieun hesitated, mulling over her answer. “Is lying allowed here?”
“You humans are annoying,” Seungmin groaned, carrying her properly. “And besides, I don't have to prove myself to you of all people. . .”
“What's that supposed to mean?”
“Isn't it obvious I don't like you?”
“Nope, we're actually giving best friends goals,” Jieun gave his shoulder little pats, smiling endearingly at the taller.
Seungmin on the other hand, grimaced, displeased with the rank. “Ew. . .”
