Issei stood in front of the woman who was smiling at him

Issei: who are you?

He kept his claws ready in case he needed to defend himself, he tried to get a read on her but nothing was coming up and she didn't have the strongest magic coming off her but he had this bad sense of danger coming from her as if she was going to kill him on the spot

???: don't worry im not here to hurt you

Her voice was smooth and fluent, she sounded young but had matured more than most, she looked roughly in her early 20s or even mid-20s but something was still off about her she didn't seem like she would pose an immediate threat towards him so he started lowering his guard

Issei:(guard down) Wait your not?

Within seconds, he felt something hit his chest and he went flying a few meters back he rolled and recovered but his body was still trying to catch up to the initial impact of her attack

Issei gasped for air trying to catch his breath but the woman was getting closer to him

Issei(gasping for air) what the hell?

He looked up at her in shock and She grabbed him by his neck then and held him off the ground

She tossed him aside again but isseis head was spinning he latched onto the ground and pulled himself forward towards her again, covered his hands with lightning and landed a hit on her pushing her forwards

Issei looked at what he did and was confused

Ddriag: GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR ASS AND TRUST YOUR BODY!

As he came back to his senses he ducked and dodged a blade swing from her and he pulled out a sword made of his scales and stood ready for her next attack

???: indeed you are a good one maybe this won't be too great for you to learn

She covered her blade with purple magic and Issei stood ready but as he raised his sword he saw he was covered with cracks all over his body

He thought it was just his stability but she bit down and made a cracking sound and he was blasted away

This level of pain he'd never felt before he recovered watching her slowly walk toward him and he stood up still ready to fight

Issei:(in pain) im not done yet

He set his hands alight, covered his arms with it and then swung towards her, the fire started to spiral and hit her down and she was out

He took a deep breath spat out the blood and went closer to see what was going on with her

As he came closer he could see she wasn't badly hurt but he did beat her

He just sat down and let his body rest and after a few hours, he noticed she was waking up.

She opened her eyes and looked at him and smiled

???: good I lost

Issei: who are you, and why can you do what I can do? Kinda

???: my name that's a tough one, but call me Kaylani

Issei: okay Kaylani explain why you came to attack me.
