Chapter 8-Transitions

(Recap Ch.7)

Haise: Aria. Could I please have a word with you? 

(Ch. 8)

Shouta: Oh, I guess I'll leave you to be now. Remember what I said ok? Aria: Got it. Haise: Sorry to intrude if I was. I just have somethin on my mind I wanna talk to you about in private. Aria: *wipes her tears* yea go ahead sorry about this. Haise: No no are you alright? Aria: I'm fine I'll tell you later. What did you wanna talk about? Haise: Oh right. Well I wanted to talk about the recommendations for the league teams. Aria: You too huh? Haise: I'm guessing Shouta talked to you about his just now? Aria: Yea. Haise: Well uhm. I guess its easier to not sugarcoat anything, so uhm, I have a big feeling we got different recommendations. Aria: Yea, so do I. What'd you get? Haise: Stars. It says its the team for intelligence. And basically the so called "masterminds" of the entire league. Aria: Oh wow. Honestly can't say I'm surprised. Haise: I feel like you're smart too. You did make our winning plan. Aria: Yea, but apparently they think I'm better offensively from what they were able to see. Haise: Gems or snakes I'm guessing? I know that only because Soo and Mina said they both got Gems and that it fit offense. Felix told me earlier he got Snakes and it fit offense as well but on the lower end. Aria: Yea, Gems. Haise: Yea which is why I wanted to talk to you about it so here goes.

Haise: Listen, you know my feelings for you. Its clearly not something I'm good at hiding. I'm  going to be blunt with you, I want to be with you Aria. I know this whole time we pretty much put it on hold because we were focused on getting in the league. Well we're here now and I think we should figure this out now. I do like you Ari. I always have. And I want to be with you in whatever you choose. If I have to work myself to death just to make it in the offensive line as a smart person, I will. You could hate me for all I care, I just want you happy. If all I ever do is get on your nerves..then just tell me now, and I'll leave you alone. But in the fullest truth there is, I want to be on team Gems with you, as preferably more than just teammates. 

Aria: Wow.. I knew you liked me, but I didn't realize it was this that much haha. I honestly thought you grew out of that crush. Haise: Understandable. But now you know I didn't so. I really wanna know what you want though. Aria: Oh yea sorry about that. *exhales* I guess I never really looked at anything like love or romance until now. I mean I had my fair share of elementary crushes but never anything this serious. But with all being said, I know that I've never been happier with anyone else. And I've never realized it myself until recently, but... Haise I like you too. Haise: Really? Aria: Yea I mean, I feel like most times you were there for me more than my own brother. When I first got my powers you were the one who taught me how to use them. When I had the fight with Shouta over them, you stopped everything and made the whole group get boba to cheer me up. When we were training you always motivated me. You always made sure I was happy. And I never got to tell you how much that meant. Haise: And I'd do it all over again. O/N: Haise pulls her into an embrace and softly kisses her. 

Aria: Uhm so... that happened. Haise: Don't worry it wasn't that bad. Plus we'll get a bunch more practice as time goes on O/N: He winks and leaves the room. 

(Outside the room)

Soohyun: Oh hey did you tell her? Haise: Oh yea and we- Aria: Talked about how you and Mina got team Gems! Soohyun: Oh right! We heard Shouta is going with Snakes. Haise: Wait you're not going Gems with us? Shouta: No I talked to Ari about it and I'm really better off with Snakes. Mina: Aw, well we sure are going to miss you in Gem land. Soohyun: I guess its time we go submit our teams. 

(At the HL Headquarters/"Graphic Design building") 

Secretary: Thank you for your submissions enjoy your new team. Shouta: I guess that's final. Oh hey look, its the twins. Layla: Hi guys! What teams did you guys pick? Mina: Gems. Soohyun: Gems. Aria: Gems. Haise: Gems. Shouta: Snakes. Layla: Oh my gosh, I chose snakes too! Lukas chose Gems. We decided it would be better overall on us. Lukas: Yea but we still have plenty of contact so we won't be far. Aria: Aww that's good. Mina: Aw that makes 2 sibling pairs broken up. 

Daichi: Hey, I heard your guys' teams. I also chose Snakes. If any of you cared to know haha. Mina: Hey! Looks like Shouta and Layla won't be by themselves! ???: May we join the party? 

Aria: Yuxia and Shenmi! Hey long time no see. Yuxia: I agree. Layla, glad you were able to stall the other teams long enough for us to get the scroll. Layla: Glad it payed off. Where's Aro? Aro: Right here. *smiles* Haise: Geez you really got a lot of league friends now. Aria: Its nice to get to know your future coworkers y'know. Haise: You got a point. Aro: Aria, its a pleasure to see you again. And other fellow team members. Yuxia and Shenmi glad you made it. Jon and Riku already submitted theirs earlier. Jon chose Hawks, and Riku chose Snakes. I myself, chose snakes as well. Soohyun: Awful lot of snake members here I see. Shenmi: Sure is. 

Secretary: Of all of you have submitted please go to the meeting room on floor 8. There, you will learn about the move in process.
