Chapter 7

Since the night at the hotel Riq was more open with me about a lot, I mean it's not like he wasn't open before, but it was like now he didn't have to tiptoe around certain stuff. I didn't like the fact that he was so open about how he took care of Big C and one of the guys that was with him. I knew why he did what he did and even understood but that didn't mean I agree with him killing people, but I understand and knew if he didn't take care of them, then it would either be his or my funeral instead. As I walked into my room, I saw Riq climbing through my window.

"Nigggggaaaa" I said as I rolled my eyes

"Oh, shut up, you should be use to it by now" Riq said as he shut the window

"Yes, but you letting all my heat out, it's cold as hell out there" I said

"Yeah, it's cold as fuck, buuuutttt" he said with a smile

I smacked my lips "What do you want boy" I said as I wrapped up in my covers on the bed

"You want to go to the movies" he asked

I looked at him suspiciously "With who" I asked

Riq huffed his breath "Crissy and her brother" he said lowly

"Man no, you tripping" I said as I turned on my Tv

"Come on man, please she would only go if her brother come too and that nigga going to mess up the vibe" he pleaded

"Okay and what that got to do with me, I'm trying to spend my Saturday unannoyed" I said

"Please bambino, you know he likes you and would do whatever you say" he pleaded

"Yeah, I know he likes me and that's why I'm not going cause he irritating" I explained

"Okay how bout you tell Mika and them to come" he said

I thought about it for a minute "I'll let you know in 30 minutes" I said as I took out my phone

"Alright cool, I'm bout to go to the grocery store with Mema" Riq said as he walked out of my room

I don't even know why I'm even considering going, I can't stand Chrissy's brother Byron. When I say he gets on my last nerves, he's one of those people that are so full of their selves and think that everyone wants them. Byron was an average looking guy and probably would even be attractive to me if he wasn't such an asshole. Him and Chrissy are twins and was like night and day Chrissy was all sweet and soft spoken, and he was all asshole and annoying. I decided I would only go if John would go so, I texted him to see if he was still free today. See John texted me earlier to see if I wanted to hang out earlier in the day but I couldn't cause I was in my driver's training class.

*You want to go to the movies????* I texted

*I'm down* John texted

*Can I invite Lester and Mika* John texted

*Sure* I texted back

*Cool* John texted

*I'll text you back with the time later* I texted

Things between me and John were cool we texted most of the time, but we never really had a chance to hang out yet because of our schedules. But I can say we have gotten to know each other pretty well. Now that John was going, I had to find someone to keep Byron occupied, so I decided to text Shawn and see if she wanted to go. After convincing her I would pay for her and buy her nachos and a drink she agreed. I called Riq told him I would go and asked him about the time and I texted everyone and told them the time we would meet up at the movie theater and then took me a nap to get prepared for tonight.
