Around 11 in the morning, Ling dashed down to find Nanny Aomm.

"Where is Grandma, Nanny Aomm?" she asked, slightly out of breath.

"She's been with Orm since this morning, checking around the farm," Nanny Aomm replied, her tone calm.

" As if they haven't talked enough last night! And that kid doesn't seem to realize Grandma is old and can easily get tired," Ling huffed, annoyance creeping into her voice.

Just then, Jiwjaew popped up beside her, interrupting her rant. "Grandma told me to inform you that she'll be having lunch at the farm with the other workers."

"Then it leaves you here to eat lunch alone, but don't worry, I'll prepare something for you," Nanny Aomm assured Ling.

"No, I won't eat! I'm going to review my lessons!" Ling shot back before running back to her room.

"Last night you didn't eat either! You might get sick!" Nanny Aomm shouted after her, concern lacing her voice.

...

Meanwhile, in the orange grove, Tod was excitedly sharing his night's experience with Orm.

"You know, I've never met anyone as kind and gentle as P'Korn, especially a girl. Last night, P'Korn prepared a mat for me to sleep on and even shared her pillow and blanket. When the blanket fell off me later, she covered me back up! In the morning, she even shared her shampoo! Which other grandchild of Grandma would do that?" Tod explained, picking oranges as he spoke.

Toon, standing nearby, wasn't too happy to hear this, while Aueng and Pan listened in agreement.

"I already told you! And she's so beautiful too!" Aueng chimed in.

"Right! When I turned in the dark at dawn, I nearly bumped into her face. Her lips were so red and kissable that it made my heart race! If I weren't a gentleman, I might have leaned in for a kiss!" Tod exclaimed.

"I want to know if Orm is here to work or to model. If she's that pretty and handsome, she should be an idol or something," Uncle Kreng added, joining the conversation.

"Exactly! What's the point? If she's that beautiful, why would she be here? I don't understand Grandma; I'm responsible and hardworking. Why would she need that useless kid?" Toon bragged, even though everyone knew he often neglected his work to flirt with the female workers.

Just then, Orm and Grandma Sari approached the group of chatting workers. Uncle Kreng, Aueng, Tod, and Pan quickly lined up to greet Grandma, while Toon scrambled to grab a basket, trying to appear busy instead of sitting idle.

"Since you're all here, let's introduce each other. This is Toon; he's responsible for taking care of production. This is Uncle Kreng; he's the leader of the workers here. And this is Orm, my granddaughter. She'll help me manage the farm," Grandma Sari introduced them.

"Greetings, Uncle Kreng and P'Toon," Orm said, smiling as Uncle Kreng nodded in acknowledgment.

"As for these three, you know them; I don't need to introduce them," Grandma Sari continued.

"Tod, Aueng, Pan!" Orm pointed at the trio as they smiled and waved back.

"Right, just now I told Orm that we have two broken tractors. I asked you to get them fixed. Did you?" Grandma Sari looked pointedly at Toon.

"Ohh, about that... talking about it makes me mad! The repairman wouldn't agree to come here to fix them, even if I said I'd pick them up and bring them back. If only I had the knowledge to fix it myself!" Toon excused himself, hoping Grandma would buy his story.

"P'Toon... I'd like to ask you a favor to take me to the tractors in case I can do something about them," Orm asked politely.

Toon was skeptical; he didn't like being overshadowed by anyone, especially not Orm, but he begrudgingly agreed to take her.
