Chapter 3

Half an hour later, Vanya opened the door to find Rajveer, Vraj, Iyana, and Roohi standing on her doorstep. She welcomed them with a warm smile, trying to hide the disappointment in her eyes. Yatharth, who was supposed to come, was still missing, and it tugged at her heartstrings.

As she ushered her friends inside and prepared to close the door, a familiar silhouette caught her eye. Yatharth was walking towards her, his presence as commanding as ever. The world seemed to slow down. His confident stride, the way his eyes crinkled at the corners with that elusive smile-everything about him seemed to draw her in, as it always did.

Vanya stood frozen, momentarily lost in his charm. Her mind raced, trying to form words, but all she could manage was a breathless, "Yatharth... tum aaye?" Her heart fluttered, caught in the magnetic pull of his gaze.

Rajveer, catching Vanya's hopeful tone, grinned mischievously and called out, "Nahi, abhi raaste mein hai, 5 minute lagega!"

The words hung in the air for a moment before everyone burst into laughter. Roohi and Iyana exchanged amused glances, while Vraj shook his head, chuckling. Even Vanya, though slightly embarrassed, couldn't help but join in the laughter. The sound of their mirth filled the hallway, momentarily pushing aside her earlier disappointment.

Riaan emerged from his room, his gaze sweeping over the drawing room. The sight of his friends-Rajveer, Vraj, Iyana, Roohi, Evara and Yatharth-engulfed in laughter brought a smile to his face. Without missing a beat, he walked over and enveloped them all in a warm, enthusiastic hug. "Welcome, guys! So glad you could make it."

Shweta, appearing from the kitchen with a tray of snacks, chimed in cheerfully, "Chalo, tum log Riaan k room me jao me kuch khane ka bhijwati hu"

With renewed energy and playful banter, the group stood up, their laughter still echoing. They followed Riaan's direction, making their way towards Riaan's room, the evening promising more fun and camaraderie.

After some time, Shweta sent Madan to Riaan's room with tea, coffee, and some snacks. Vanya's friends-Evara, Roohi, and Inaya-suggested, "Vanya, go give the coffee to Yatharth, but be careful!"

Vanya picked up a cup of coffee and made her way toward Yatharth. But as she took a step forward, her foot slipped slightly. The coffee cup wobbled and splashed all over Yatharth.

Yatharth, looking surprised, said, ""Arey yaar, yeh coffee ka naya flavor hai!"

Vanya, flustered, responded, "Oops! I'm so sorry!"

Everyone burst into laughter. Roohi, laughing uncontrollably, said, "Vanya, tumne toh coffee ko ekdum new level pe pahunchaa diya!"

Inaya, grinning, added, "Looks like Yatharth got the VIP coffee treatment tonight!"

The boys, never missing a chance to tease, took Yatharth's coffee mishap to an extreme level. As the coffee soaked into Yatharth's clothes, Rajveer, with a mischievous grin, exclaimed, "Yatharth, ab toh tumhe ek coffee shop kholni padegi-'Yatharth's Special Splash'!"

Vraj, barely containing his laughter, added, "Haan, aur tumhare paas ek complimentary 'coffee bath' voucher hoga!"

Riaan, joining in, said, "Yatharth, lagta hai tumhe coffee ka deep tissue massage mila hai! Relax aur enjoy the brew!"

Yatharth, trying to stay composed, rolled his eyes but couldn't help but chuckle. "Great, just what I needed-a hot and wet coffee experience!"

The boys erupted into fits of laughter, their jokes echoing through the room. Yatharth, despite being the butt of the jokes, couldn't help but join in the laughter, knowing that this was all part of the fun.
