___________________Vanya, Evara, Roohi, and Iyana were huddled together in Yatharth's guest room, seething with anger. The boys' latest prank about Vanya’s goat being stolen had pushed them over the edge.
Vanya, pacing back and forth, grumbled, "Yeh log sochte hain ki hum bas chup baithenge? Bakri chori? Seriously? Agar mere haath mein aajaye na Yatharth... usko bakri banake chor bazaar mein bech doongi!"
Evara, lying flat on the bed, groaned, "Aur Riaan? Usko lagta hai ki yeh sab jokes theek hain? Uska bike lekar chhupa doon toh samjhega!"
Roohi, sitting cross-legged on the floor, fumed, "Vraj toh hero ban raha tha. 'Oh, Roohi, don’t worry, bakri milegi.' Milegi nahi, teri asli problem ab tu hai!"
Iyana, leaning against the wall with her arms crossed, added, "Rajveer ko toh main ghaas bhi nahi dalti ab. Usko toh bakri ke saath bandhna padega, tab jaake akal aayegi."
Vanya, hands on her hips, declared, "Sun lo, hum sabko na proper revenge lena hai. Inhe laga prank maar kar bach jayenge? No chance! Mafi toh door ki baat hai!"
Evara smirked, "Haan haan, kal subah yeh ladke sochenge ke bakri gayi thi ya unki khud ki izzat!"
All four girls exchanged mischievous glances, already plotting their counterattack.
________________At the breakfast table, the boys had transformed into a chorus of apologies. Yatharth, Riaan, Vraj, and Rajveer were sitting on one side, all wearing the same guilty expressions. On the other side, Vanya, Evara, Roohi, and Iyana sat with their arms crossed, faces stone-cold. The girls had made up their minds—no apology was enough for the goat prank.
"Vanya, please, yaar," Yatharth said, leaning forward. "It was just a joke, humne kab socha tha tum itna bura maan jaogi?"
Vanya shot him a glare that could melt steel. "Bura? Tumne bakri ko joke banaya, Yatharth. Tumhare sorry ka kya karoon, frame mein lagake wall pe latka doon?"
Riaan, attempting his best puppy-dog face, looked at Evara. "Ev, tu toh samajh sakti hai, yaar. Hum sab bas mazak kar rahe the. Hum bhi toh bakri dhoondh rahe the na?"
Evara raised an eyebrow, clearly unimpressed. "Oh, really? Toh jab tu mazak kare, sab funny hota hai? Aur hum jab react karein, hum overreact karte hain? Wah Riaan, kya logic hai."
Rajveer tried his luck with Iyana. "Iyaana, yeh toh bas ek prank tha... ab itna serious mat ho yaar."
Iyana didn’t even bother looking up from her plate. "Rajveer, tu rehne de. Tumhe lagta hai sorry bolne se sab theek ho jayega? Iss baar tum sabki punishment final hai."
Vraj, feeling the tension, tried to soften Roohi. "Roohi, meri taraf dekh na... please? Tumhe pata hai main aise pranks bas fun ke liye karta hoon."
Roohi finally looked up, but her expression was colder than ever. "Fun ke liye? Tumhe lagta hai meri feelings ke saath khelna fun hai, Vraj? Next time, main tumhara phone chhupa ke bolungi ke chori ho gaya—tab pata chalega 'fun' kya hota hai."
The boys glanced at each other, realizing that their endless stream of "sorrys" wasn’t making a dent. The girls were not in a forgiving mood, and breakfast was about to get a whole lot colder.
The boys were getting desperate now, and when they realized their apologies weren’t working, they made the ultimate offer.
"Okay, tum jo bolo, hum woh karenge, bas ek baar maaf kar do!" Yatharth said, almost pleading. The others nodded in agreement.
