It's been about a year since they arrived on Copper 9 for protection.

The humans were having trouble breathing and finding food on the frozen planet.
Especially now that the murder drones have arrived.

Tough their main focus seemed to be the worker drones left on the planet.
Through absorbing the worker drones over the time they were on copper 9, humans noticed the way they picked up after humans despaired werry easily. They found it interesting to see them even figure out how to have kids. Tessa particularly found the pod baby's interesting and really adorable. She would often blab about them to Y/n. Tough Y/n didn't really mind since she just wanted her girlfriend to be happy, and since this seems to take her mind off of earth and the mistake she made with letting Cyn in , Y/n was more willing to listen to Tessa's endless blabbing than to watch her blame herself for everything that's happened.

"Look at this one! I was able to catch this photo this morning."
Tessa said excitedly.

"I know their cute but you can't go sneaking around taking pictures of their kids." Y/n said while working on some paperwork

"I know... But they are just so adorable!... What are you doing?"

"Just looking over some studies Steve has been doing."

"Oh? What are they about?"
Tessa exclaimed while proceeding to sit on Y/n's desk.

"He has been experiment a lot lately. And by doing so he thinks he has found a way to transfer human contiousness into a worker os. If it works it will be a good solution to our problems, since Worker drones don't need food or oxygen to survive. We could even expand our lifespands like that. The only way the worker drones can die is if they get killed by disassembly drones though we can avoid them like the colony does in the bunkers and we'll be fine." Y/n explained to Tessa who smirked at the girl.

"The disassembly drones are less of a threat than you may think" Tessa said casually

"What do you mean."

"Lately while I've been sneaking into the colony I noticed disassembly drones just casually walking around without attacking anyone. I looked around for a bit and overhead the daughter of the colony leather, I think her name was Uzi or something, talking to the dissasemlers. Oparently she made friends with the three of them and they promised not to atack the Workers. Honestly I expected nothing less from N, J and V... *Tessa got sad* Too bad Cyn wiped their memory away."

"Well... *Y/n sitts up* if that's the case then we shall proceed with Steve's plan. And don't worry. I'm shour you'll be able to make friends with N again..." Y/n smiled reassuringly at Tessa.
Tessa smiled back. She knew her girlfriend was trying to get everyone's life's saved and is working day and night to find a solution.
No matter how many times Tessa has tried to get Y/n to rest she failed. Y/n won't know what rest is until they are all safe.

"Some elders have volunteered to be the firsts to have their contiousness into Worker drones body's. They said that even if the transfer fails and their contiousness gets damaged they are old anyway so it isn't as much of a loss." Y/n's voice range through the room snapping Tessa out of her little tough.

"Oh? When will you guys start that little experiment?"

"I will take us about 3 to 4 days to set up everything we need. You want to help us?"Y/n asked Tessa.

"OF COURSE I DO!!! Anything to help!"
Tessa exclaimed excited.

Tessa has always loved drones. Any kind she adored. She found them to be easier to relate to than humans. Humans would always just follow the most boring standards and all try to be the same. It was boring! And people would often be concerned about the littlest of things. Like on which finger to wear their ring on or if they should put on an extra charm on their necklaces or not.
