Sirius came into the house and dried off a little bit. The snow fell lightly outside of the house. Arabella looked at it for a second before shutting the door. While the snow fell inside, there was nothing but fire brewing in the head of hers."Everything okay?" Furrowing her eyebrows, becoming quickly protective over the boy. Out of everyone's house, she was kind of confused about why he came here, but it meant something that he had come here.
"James is away on Holiday to visit his gran," Sirius commented wiping the snow off of his leather jacket. "I didn't have nowhere else to go." Moving his hands together, before eyeing the fireplace that was in the distance. "Does this thing work,"
Arabella had grabbed her wand from her hair and lit it from where she was standing. Still confused about why Sirius looked as if he was on the run from something. "Gran made dinner." She instructed him crossing her arms, furrowing her eyebrows with the boy warming up his hands at the fireplace.
He didn't look as if he wanted to talk about what had happened. Yet it upset him, Examining him from where she was standing."Is it okay if I stay the week?" Turning his head, and moving the hair out of his face as he did so. To see the look on Arabella's face, nodding her head without any hesitation.
"Yeah, I doubt Gran would care." Shrugging her shoulders; rubbing the sides of her elbow. "She's in the garden right now,"
"You said there was dinner?" Nodding her head again.
It had been a couple of minutes since Sirius had made himself at home. Arabella still didn't know when it was the right moment to ask what happened. Also not wanting to overstep something just for him to not tell her at all. Ruby had walked into the room before examining Sirius who was bent down eating from his plate from the kitchen island.
Not saying anything she just glanced at Arabella who didn't say anything also just shrugging her shoulders. "Sirius? Is there a reason you're eating grilled potatoes in my kitchen?" Ruby finally inquired.
"Got kicked out." Causally speaking waving his hand away. Ruby didn't say anything but pity had filled her gaze. "Not a big deal," Muttering into the food mostly so that they didn't hear it. Arabella and Ruby had exchanged a glance.
"Well, blankets are in the cupboard," said Ruby making her way towards the living room. "Sirius, you sleep on the couch." Pointing before finally disappearing behind the door.
He saluted and continued to eat the food that was on his plate. "What about Regulus?" Simply questioning.
"Does it matter?" Was the simple answer to it. But Sirius didn't make eye contact as he said that.
"I guess not," she said.
The little voice inside wanted to truly know what happened with Sirius in Grimmauld's place and why did he leave. Everyone knew the kind of parent Walburga was, so there was no questioning it. But what finally kicked him to leave all of that behind? Even his little brother who he didn't even see as a sibling anymore. Arabella from the corner of her eye can see Ruby who was on the phone with someone in the moment. "You have clothes right, 'cause you can always borrow a tank top, yknow show those muscles."
"Reckon we all know you want to see them," Sirius jokingly flirted with her. "I can sleep in this until Walburga throws my shit overboard, Crazy ol' Tosser."
Reeling on whatever he was saying. Arabella made her way into the living room and went upstairs so that she could change into something more comfortable. Since dinner was over, going to the bathroom to also take a shower. She knew that Sirius would want to take a shower as well counting all of the snow that had attached itself to him.
When she was finished inside of th shower, she had changed into shorts and a tank top that almost covered the shorts. Sitting on the single chair that she was with Remus on last time the window close by.
