CHAPTER 1

LILITH

"So... what's my agenda for today?" I asked my manager while I look at her with me sipping my daily coffee at a small local cafe

It's was cozy,warm with an aromatic brew smell of freshly baked beans of coffee
It's was perfect...

My manager, Sophie nodded her in respond then she opened her ipad to see my daily schedule for any session today
"So far so good...you have a shoot as always and you have a meeting coming up"

Meeting?...

"What meeting?"
"A meeting about an upcoming movie,you didn't know?" Sophie asked and I look at her in disbelief when she drop the news on me at the very last second

Me? In a movie,again?

"Who's in it,if I may ask?..." Please not him...

"Sorry deary, it's Chase again" called it

I look at Sophie as I sigh deeply in frustration while I look at my drink then back at my manager,Sophie with a pout forming on my lips
"Why him again?..."
"I'm sorry Lil,he offered the movie for us and he wanted our top best actress for the role"

A long sigh was coming out of me then I look her worriedly
"But you know that me and him aren't a good match right? He hates me!" I ramble to her while I look at her with a slight pout on my lips was still there trying to convince her in any ways to cancel the meeting

"Oh honey,no one would hate you. You're famous and everyone loves you-"
"He doesn't!" I stated while I place my head on the table in frustration knowing I can't fight Sophie since she's been a manager for many famous people and here I am acting like a brat even though she has kids already and I'm one of the extra she has

Yeah,me and chase were never in good terms...I don't know why he hates me everytime we acted together in a movie or drama basically

I've filmed like 5 movies with him and he hates more for some reason
And not to mention we are labeled as the power couple for every movies or drama we acted plus I kissed him more then any other actors I acted out with

And don't get me started on his fans they're toxic as hell if they found out about the news for the upcoming movie

Sophie then patted me on the back trying to comfort me while my head was still on the table when I didn't like the news
"Can't I just decline the project?" I said to Sophie then she shook her head to me knowing I can't do anything about that answer

"I'm sorry honey but the show must go on,okay?" She said before patting me on the head and I look at her with a small pout on my face before I stood up from my seat with full of confidence with Sophie's help and ignoring the creepy feeling when remembering I'm working with Chase

"You're right! The show must go on! Let's go" I then grab Sophie by her arm and we both exited the cafe and going to the meeting

Once we arrived at the building where chase works,I couldn't help but to notice a familiar car when I just smiled knowing who it was, making me all bubbly with butterflies

"What's with the smile?" Sophie asked while walking beside me to the building when she saw me smiling like an idiot when she look at the car that I was looking

"Theo's here,thank God" I said with an idiotic smile when I saw my boyfriend, Theo's car knowing he was in the movie with me so I won't be alone
"You and Theo are inseparable" Sophie tease while I stick my tongue at her to her tease knowing this is how we showed our love for one another in the work

When we made it to the level of the meeting room both me and Sophie were greeted by a grumpy old but young man with brown hair and hazel light eyes continue to his arms crossing on his chest following by his feet tapping in anger

"You're late!" There he was the man of a few tricks of his sleeves, Chase Bryce number one actor and a national treasure to the country

I wanted to snap back at him, maybe literally screaming to his face,when Sophie stood in front of me apologizing for our late absence
"We're sorry, Mister Bryce... traffic was hectic we will arrived as the time you wanted" Sophie said

The truth be told that traffic wasn't hectic, it was a normal driving day,we- I mean me,I wanted to stop at a local convenient store to buy myself just a few snacks for the meeting when I literally begged Sophie to let me buy it
I look at chase nervously hoping he'll take the lie that Sophie made

Sophie was my knight in shining armor...

"Don't be late,you hear me? Now get in,the meeting is about to start" he ordered with Sophie getting into the meeting room but he stopped me last second when I was about to step foot into the room
"but not for you Misses Snow" Chase said then I look at him confusedly and with a hint of disbelief by his words

"What- why?!" I said
"I want you to get me a coffee, decaf small and no sugar, Sunshine" he command before I look at Sophie from the meeting room wanting to scream for help

I would beg but to Chase? Yeah not in a million years or in another universe,galaxy everywhere!
Did you know there's more galaxy beyond our worlds? Amazing honestly but hell I'm begging

My face was red as a tomato since it was rage not blush when he suddenly snap in front of my face when ordering me around
"Come on now,I'm thirsty here Sunshine" he said then he closed the meeting room door leaving me speechless by his behavior towards me
What am I? His assistant or something when he literally has like five other frickin, drooling assistant?!

But in the end I acted like a coward and I obeyed his orders with me finally snapping at him
"The fuck?! Urgh! Fine!" I stormed off from the meeting room to the hallway and went to get that idiot his coffee he wanted

While I was walking I couldn't help but to remembered his words to me that make me feel creepy all of a sudden
Sunshine...
His words echoed in my mind never I thought in a million years of working with him and he called me that pet name

I stepped into the elevator with a slight blush forming on my face when I pressed the button to go down while talking to myself
"He would never call me that..." I mumbled to myself while sighing deeply to myself
