CHAPTER 4

LILITH

After the incident that happened a few weeks ago,I completely forgot about Theo but then I remembered that I have to meet him during acting time

We were walking to set when Sophie gave me an emotional support hug to help me ease up when I turn to her

"Just bare with it okay,Hun?" Sophie said while she noticed that I was bit stressed and sad these past few days due to Theo's scandal
When we both went into the set I noticed there was a new guy there sitting by the director by Theo's old seat

"Who's he?" I asked Sophie but before she could respond, Chase interrupted us by next to me
"Charles Benjamin,the replacer of Theo Carmichael" replacer?

"If you're expecting Theo to be here then I'm bursting your bubbles, Sunshine cause he's fired from production and from his company"
My eyes widened in surprised by his sudden statement while I look at him in disbelief.
That fast?! How?

"But- isn't that a bit too fast?" I said
"Do you want to see him again?" He asked me while I look at him when I  hesitantly thought for a second,those damn words echoed in my head making me sigh a bit before I shook my head

"N- no ...no I don't,I hate him"
"Good girl,now focus on working than thinking about that idiot" he said before he walked away and going to his trailer for make-up I guess?

Wait- what did he just called me? Good girl...gross but why do I feel tingly all of a sudden?

I was in my own world when I thought about Chase's words then I shriek when I felt a hand on my shoulder then I turn to see Sophie who was laughing lightly at my surprise behavior
"Sophie! Don't scare me like that god!" I said to her whole I tried to catch my breath after her little tease on me

"Sorry Hun,you were so in your thoughts and I couldn't resist" Sophie said with that motherly smile on her face that made my heart melt by just how beautiful she is
"It's okay,come on help me get ready" I said before I hugged her arm and going into my trailer for some makeover for the movie I'm acting

After awhile, I got out of the trailer while I was wearing a nice little green sun dress that made me looking cute and complementing my natural white skin tone...I never felt pretty since forever!

Sophie came up to me and she fixed a bit of my dress before she smiled and fixes my hair
"Stunning as always, Lilith. Imagine the girls seeing this" we both just laughed at the thought of Sophie's twin daughters would probably say I look like a princess or just want to play with my hair

"I'll probably be their personal barbie dress up doll,not complaining tho" I said with a smile on my face as I look at Sophie when she chuckled at my words then she wipe the extra smudge of lipstick away from the corner of my lips while I look at her

"Thanks, you're a life saver honestly"
"Anytime Hun,now go and do your best okay? It's just chase" Sophie smiled at me before I want to the set

"It's just Chase..." Yeah it's just him,I thought

"Okay everyone,ready on set" the director said everyone got on set and when everything was set the director shouted 'action' to us and we started to act out part of the movie

"You look pretty,Amber it reminds me of the time where I first asked you out to that date" Chase or should I say his character name Joseph said while spinning me around the set while I smiled at him

"I always look pretty especially to my little cutie" Me, Amber said
That was cringe... I thought

"And cut! Perfect everyone!" I sigh deeply at after the director said 'cut' after a few couple scene of the movie then everyone cheered after it was done

"Okay everyone, let's go to the next scene in a few hours!" The director as he and crew walks out of the set while went to his manager for a bit while I walked to Sophie then a figure stopped in front of me... Charles Benjamin

I look at him curiously about why was he standing in front of me before he spoke
"You're... Miss Lilith Snow right?" He asked while I look at him with a small smile on my face then I noticed the blush on his face when I introduced myself

"That's me alright, you're Charles huh? I didn't knew about you" I said
"I'm a rookie that the director hired since mister Theo...you know?"
He said while I sigh deeply once remembering Theo after what he did behind my back...were those 1 year and a half dating was nothing? I thought again

"Oh- I'm sorry Miss Lilith,I didn't mean to-" he wanted to continue then he stopped when he saw Chase behind me with that intimidating stare of his
"

What's going on?" Chase asked while looking at both of me and Charles while I know how excited he was to meet chase

"Mister Chase an honor to meet you! Huge fan" Charles said before he extended his hand for a handshake towards him
Chase then shake Charles hand before pulling away from it

"Good job on the acting, quite surprised to see a rookie being this good" Chase said
He was right tho...I mean it was a big movie plus not all rookies could pull this trick off
Except me I'm a pro!

"It's means a lot thank you and Miss Lilith..."
"Yes?" I look at Charles curiously while Chase was next to me
"Would it be okay if I asked you for a nice coffee tomorrow?" Charles said then I smiled at his friendly behavior and I agreed to him for his invite

"As long as you're paying,I'm in" I said to Charles with a smile on my face as I look at him
"Obviously I'm paying , Miss Lilith" Charles said

"Sure,why not? See ya tomorrow then Charles... Bryce"
I said before I walked away and going to Sophie with a smile on my face feeling excited for the date

I still have that feeling someone was watching me from afar but I didn't know who it was...
