It's called next day new day because everything what happened is just past which means we have the future and he thought everything gonna change but STILL he keeps eating the same food that he supposes not to argue and he stand up and speak because they cannot treat him like his dead parents and he misses them. he just wanted to stand for himself because no one can stand up for him. he is now dealing with mental stress he feels something strange and wanted to talk to his mind and ask why he is like this but even though he is mental stress he still on his physical condition which means he still controls himself physically.
