As a first of the One Shots stories, i'll take this one first

Her name is IGN M - 78 ( CA - 249 ) the last ship of the Messier Nebula class Heavy Cruisers of the Imperial Navy, and a sister to Eagle/Aquila

Also Y/n will be also called You in the story

M - 78 is one of the members of the Imperial Galaxian Navy in Azur Lane World, she is the 9th and the last ship of the Messier Nebula class Heavy Cruisers. She is also the first from her class that brave enough to make a connection between Britannia and Imperial Galaxy in World War 2 era with a threat haunting from neither Axis Forces or even Friendly Fire from Allies. She sunk during the Battle of Douglas Island alongside Eagle/Aquila after her front bow got struck by many torpedoes and air strikes.

When she summoned in Azur Lane world, one thing that makes her start to feel bad about herself that she use a metal mask om her face that covered her mouth and nose, but still she could breath. When she took it off, she surprise that she have scars from cuts or impacts on both cheeks that looks a bit to a slit. And she quickly put her mask on, no one know about this except Eagle first as her big sister there. Her big sister wasn't surprised but feel very worried due to her younggest sister condition, she even didn't tell to Astoria about her condition.

And now...

Commander Y/n who was being pointed by Admiral Benjamin Ravenscroft as the Commander of Azur Lane including the Imperial Galaxian ships is now doing Paper Works with an exhasuting looking face. You were working nonstop signing paper work since you have a morning Coffe after trying to lobby Belfast so you can drink coffee instead of your usual tea.

*door knock sound*

M 78 : " Ignoscas domino ! "

You notice a latin voice of a shipgirl, you quickly know that is an Imperial Galaxian Navy shipgirl where they mostly speaking in Latin languages. You open the door and see her carrying a pie on her hand. You notice that this is her signature ie that she ever shown to him when he meet her in a ttaining for maid in the Royal Navy Maid Corps Academy or school.

Y/n : " Oh, M78. Welcome in, where is Belfast ? Isn't she usually the one who in charge for me ? "

M78: " Head Maid Belfast is having aher duty with her majesty Queen Elizabeth and asigned me to do the job for her my domino "

Y/n : " Oh i see then "

M78 : " Looks like you having a stack of Paperwork there, let me help you for that stack that makkes you look fatigue "

Y/n : " Oh, you don't need to do it, i almost done you know ? " *lying tone*

M78 : " My domino, is bad for you to overk work when you have someone that could help you out, Head Maid Belfast taught me that in my training "

Y/n : " Okay... can i take the pie ? "

M78 : " Sure thing, is all for you master "

You take a break and take the bit of the pie that she bring before, it was a chocolate flavoured pie. It was smooth and delicious, you were enjoying it while you looking at M78 working with her mask on. You ever wonder why she keep using it, she reminds you mostly to Boise who also use it with an oxygen tank behind her. But she never told you about it so you are still in the seas of mystery about behind that mask.

Even in some cases, she could be a very defensive person that wants to protect you at all cost. Like this below for an example ⬇️

You were out to have a routine medical check up with Vestal and Astoria with your office is locked, a shipgirl from Sakura Empire named Taihō was trying to break through in your office with the copy of your office room.

Taihō : " Haha ! Now i have many private times with my lovely Shikikan~ ! I love you so much~ ! "  *opens the door slowly*

M78 : " Oh madam Taihō ? What are you doing here ? And how do you even... *notice and use her intimidating voice* have my master's spare key huh ? "

Taihō : " Is- Is nothing ! Wh-where is he ?! Why he is not inside his office ?! " *turns around and see M78 with a mopping broom stick*

M78 : " He went somewhere i assume "

Taihō : " Where ?! "

*splash*

M78 : " Don't ask me, i only doing my work here... and look what have you done ?! "

Taihō was surpirsed to see that she didn't actually or not kick a bucket of the water where M78 use it to mop the floor.

M78 : " Oh, also. That water you spilled which hit your shoes aswell, it has a smelly stink as a smelly boots. Your Shikikan will hate yoh if you not clean yourself ! "

Taihō : " What ?! Who give you the reason to try to make me- "

M78 : " GO.BACK.NOW, CAUSE I STILL HAVE WORK ! GET OUT FROM MY SIGHT BEFORE I DO IT ON YOU ! "

Taihō : " EEEEEEKKKK !!! " *Runs away*

And now, is the moment

You were walking in a park where you saw M78 was looking to a mini hand mirror on a bench, you with innocently walks to say 'hi' to her.

Y/n : " Good Morning M78- " *surprised*

M78 : *looks at him with a surprise face and look back at her mirror and realized shw doesn't use her mask this time*

Silent... Silent... Silent...

Y/n / M78 : " AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH !!! "

You both scream a lot in both awkard and scares as ever until finally it's all ended by she run and smash the door which makkez her dead dizzy and falling on the floor without her mask. You in a flash suddenly close your office door and put her on the sofa.

20 minutes past

M78 is now slowly waking up as she see your face as she was panic to show her face. This makes you use your actions, to calm her, which is quite give you the time.

M78 : " I-i-i am sorry m-my master ! P-punish this ugly maid- "

Y/n : " M78, please take deep breath. Follow me okay ? "

Breath in... Breath out...

Y/n : " Better ? "

M78 : " Y-yes... "

Y/n : " Now... can we talk each others ? Without your mask on "

M78 : " Uhm.... s-s-sure "

Y/n : " What happened to your face and why you not told me about it ? "

M78 : " .... my face ? My face was ruined results of my previous life getting hit by many torpedoes and Air Strikes "

Y/n : " Also... "

M78 : " I wear that mask in order to hide my terrible looking face... i was worried if you hate me due to my real look "

Y/n : " I see, so that's the reason why you never told me about it. But M78... "

M78 : " Yes ? "

Y/n : " You shouldn't feel worried cause of your reak look to me, any shipgirls that being a part of my fleet is all the same. Even if they have ugly looking, they are still a shipgirl who dedicate theirself for their Commander "

M78 : " Oh ? "

Y/n : " And i won't ever hate you also, don't be afraid to me to tell the truth about yourself okay ? "

M78 : " T-thank you m-master ! " *kneeling in front of him as she place her hands on his knees*

Although she may have an ugly looking behind that mask, she now shouldn't be worried cause the Commander loves her like what he do to the others.
