From the story "The Emperor and The Medic" i bring you all a one shot story from the 9 Imperial Galaxian Navy ships that became kansens in the Azur Lane world. Hope you enjoy it all !
( The reference i use here is from a manga about Vestal with the tittle if i not wrong, "how to wake up a tired goddess" or maybe that is not the tittle ? )
Astoria is a hospital ship of the Imperial Galaxian Navy, alongside her 2 sisterships. She is a unique for her class, cause she was builded based on an incomplete aircraft carrier hull to became a hospital ship. But cause she is based on an aircraft carrier, she has still the ability of to launch aircrafts, has very strong AA defense systems, even now she could launch smaller ships like a hovercraft to spread her medical supllies to anyone.
She make a contract or a vow to be part of the Azur Lane's medical division, after she pass through many tests by Vestal to prove she is worthy to do medical stuffs. Not to mention that she build the Medigun from a Siren's head that she have taken long time ago and use it's healing essense to make the Medigun.
She always check your health every weekend cause is her schedule, she also became your personal doctor. She also know how to make the shipgirls respect the Commander is he is in unhealthy state, like example. She ever threaten Taihou who try to sneak in his bedroom when he is sick, although Taihou was very angry cause of her, Astoria threaten her with saying that she will be part of her experiment or injecting her with a corossive shot if she not respect the Commander's time to rest.
Right now you can be seen monitoring the base activities when you heard someone knocking your door office, you open the door and found Rigil Kentaurus. An AEGIS missile frigate of the Imperial Galaxian Navy with a worried face.
Y/n : " What's the problem Rigil ? "
Rigil : " Huwaaa Commander ! Dr. Astoria is lying her body down on the floor unconscious ! "
Y/n : " Wait what ?! "
Rigil : " Hurry ! follow me ! "
At one of the medical center room or maybe hospital
Vestal and Akashi can be seen carefully put Astoria's body on the medical bed while Vestal was checking her body, the same goes to Akashi while the other shipgirls are around them all. The commander quickly arrive at the room and look around and gind her unconscious. You ask to Vestal was going on, but she says that her heart beat and blood pressure are stable, then she ask Akashi if she know more than her. She then have an opinion or diagnose in her head.
Akashi : " This is probally because she is overwork and runs low on affection or moral supports ! "
Shipgirls : " Huh ? How ?! "
Akashi : " Commander-nya, you still remember when Akashi tell you about the shipgirl's dormitory right ? "
You then try to remember what she ever said, then you remember that shipgirls morals and affection can be decreased due to many kinds of factors.
Y/n : " I remember... a shipgirls can be demoralized by many kinds of factors right ? "
Akashi : " Correct-nya ! "
Vestal : " Then what should we do ? "
Akashi : " Hmm... there is only one way in my opinion, Commander ! You must hug her body until she wakes up ! "
Y/n : *surprised*
Akashi : " Is the only way ! "
You then slowly walk to her side and hold her warm hand slowly while collecting yourself to be brave enought to hug her, cause turns out, Betelguese the leader of the Imperial Galaxian Navy shipgirls also at there and watching your act carefully.
Akashi : " WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR ?! JUST HUG HER ! "
Y/n : " OKAY ! OKAY ! DAMN IT ! "
You then hug Astoria with not so tight about 30 minutes, your mouth prayibg words so she could wake up from her unconscious state. And it work ! Astoria slowly open her eyes and looks at everyone before look at you.
Astoria : " Commander... ? What time is it ? Are you... are you sick ? "
Shipgirls : " Hurray ! "
Betelguese : " Good job Commander "
Y/n : " Astoria, thank god you wakes up. You make us all worried about you "
Astoria : *silents a bit before talking* " Commander... may i have a private talk with you at 16:00 PM ? "
Y/n : " Sure "
Later
You meet with Astoria in your office at 16:00 PM, she can be seen using a different outfit than her usual one. She showing you her smile as you sit beside her on a couch.

Astoria : " Commander, i am sorry to make you worried today "
Y/n : " Is okay, but can you call me what makes you unconscious before ? "
Astoria : " Well, i was busy workout all night in developing new medicines and making a research of using Wisdom Cubes as a future medical usements "
Y/n : " Sounds a bit odd but good enough, you know Astoria. I love your hardwork and your effort for contributing for the Azur Lane. But one thing, don't push yourself too much or Vestal which became your head doctor have problems "
Astoria : " Oh... okay Commander... also one thing ! "
Y/n : " Hmm ? "
Astoria : " Is it legal for a shipgirl like me saying that i have a feeling for you ? "
Y/n : " Is okay, why you ask my permission ? Is there a problem ? "
Astoria : " Cause... i am envy with the other shipgirls who have a beautiful look and charming also which makes you love them. While me ? I am just a hospital ship and not a powerful naval ship "
Y/n : *deep breath* " Astoria... i know what you say is right, but that doesn't mean i not love everyone else. I love all shipgirls with their own propotions, like the destroyers for an example, which i only caring their life. The point is, is okay if you have a feeling for me to say it or not, is all back to your heart said "
Astoria : " Well if it's like that... Commander ? I... I love you ! "
Y/n : *surprised a bit anc chuckles* " Haha, i love you too Astoria. Is about time for me to get back to my home, see you tomorrow Astoria "
Astoria : " Oh right, see you tomorrow also sir ! " *leaves the office*
