Emily sat on her bed, staring at the letter in her hand. It was from her mom, and she could feel the tears welling up in her eyes as she read the words.

"My dearest Emily," the letter began. "As I sit down to write this to you, I am filled with so much love and emotion. I want you to know that you are the light of my life, and I am so proud of the young woman you are becoming."

Emily's heart swelled with emotion as she read the words. She felt like her mom was speaking directly to her, her voice whispering in her ear.

"I wish I could be there to see you graduate from high school, to see you walk across that stage and receive your diploma. I wish I could be there to see you fall in love for the first time, to see you experience all the joys and heartaches that life has to offer. But most of all, I wish I could be there to see you grow into a fine woman, to see you become the person you were meant to be."

As Emily read the words, she felt a lump form in her throat. She knew that her mom was sick, and that she might not be around to see all of these things. But she also knew that her mom's love for her was unconditional, and that she would always be with her in spirit.

"I want you to know that I love you more than anything in this world," the letter continued. "You are my everything, and I am so grateful to have been your mother. I know that I won't be able to be there for all of the milestones in your life, but I want you to know that I'll always be with you, guiding you and watching over you from above."

Emily felt tears streaming down her face as she finished reading the letter. She felt like her mom was hugging her, holding her close and telling her everything would be okay.

"I love you too, Mom," Emily whispered, her voice barely above a whisper.

She felt a sense of peace wash over her, knowing that her mom's love would always be with her, no matter what.

As she sat there, holding the letter and feeling her mom's love, Emily knew that she would be okay. She would face whatever challenges came her way, knowing that her mom was watching over her, guiding her and loving her from above.
