Sherese had just returned from her amazing vacation trip in Europe and was exited to see her friends.
On the first day.
Yasmina, Athena, Sophie and Page were already waited for Sherese. They hugged and were very happy to see each other, talking about what they had done this summer. Some things, however, had changed. Eva was not longer at their school, and a new student had arrived, her name was "Sidney", a special name. She sat alone, and the group felt bad, and the group went to her. Sidney had short black hair, brown eyes, pale skin, she dressed black and purple. She was like an emo type.
Sherese last year began at high school, she never learned before and her grades were still good. A great talent, because her friends studied a lot, but sometimes it happened that Sherese ended up to had better grades than her friends. It seemed easy for Sherese, to pass the year, because she realized that she is not that stupid, as she thought. But still she had many insecurities.
Although many boys looked at her, Sherse often felt ugly. In one Computer class, she even admitted the she felt insecure and thought she was ugly. Someone had given her compliment, but she couldn't accept it. The whole class was shocked that Sherese saw herself that way. Later, when she got home, she realized that many people were actually obsessed with her. This realization gave her a huge confidence boost, but she remained humble.
Then there was Melodie, she was jealous of Sherese, though Sherese didn't know it. But her friends did. For the first time, Sherese experienced someone being jealous at her.
Sherese had enough. For the first time Sherese stood up for herself, she confronted Melodie "what is your problem?!, leave me alone, i can't handle it anymore, how you to talk to me, watch your mouth and if you ever dare to talk to me like that ever, you will see what's happening next.
Melodie was shocked and starts talking behind Sherese back.
Sherese confronted her again "excuse me, did you still talk about me?!, say it to my face."
Melodie looked *confused*.
Sherese felt relieved and was a bit proud of herself and the group was also shocked and at the same time proud.
Now Sherese knew, she was smart and had power.
The group found a main spot a yellow bench in between the hall, where they spent their breaks there. One day, suddenly, a group of boys started to harassing the girls. The girls told many times to leave them alone, but the boys wouldn't listen. So Page had the idea to go to the teacher, Page and Yasmina told the teacher and the next day, the boys came back and apologized to them and leaves them alone.
Sherese never had a boyfriend, she always felt flattered that boys looked at her. One of her biggest dream was also to find someone to calm her down, someone who loves her. The love of her life.
But she was just beginning the journey to reach her dreams, deep inside of her heart always, she believed that she will reach, what she wished for. At the same time she doubted it, because she was insecure and didn't want to aim that high.
Sherese couldn't find a college, not even a single one, that she was forced to take a gap year when school will be over. Actually Sherese didn't knew what to do, she didn't wanted to work. It was not for her.
She applied to many colleges, but none accepted her. She felt pressured because everyone found a college, but she didn't. After a while she realized, that it is not meant to be this year, so she was fine to take the gap year.
The school year came to end. She spent it with her friends. Now she got graduate and a new chapter is on the way.
