Y/N's pov:
Sun set me down on the soft floor of the tower and gave me two feet of space. "You didn't get too lonely while we were gone, did you, Starlight?" Moon rasped from behind me. I shook my head. "Don't worry, I'm fine," I replied. Moon was about to speak again when the doors of the daycare slammed open, followed by the sounds of furious footsteps coming up the stairs.
The door burst open and five police officers and a security guard woman rushed in, tasers in their hands and aimed at Sun and Moon. "STAY WHERE YOU ARE! DON'T MOVE!" one of them shouted. One of the officers grabbed me by the arm and led me away from Sun and Moon. "What's going on?" I asked, thoroughly confused. "Don't worry, you're safe now. We'll make sure they don't hurt anyone else," the officer holding onto my arm said.
"What do you mean? What's happening?" I asked again. The other officers cornered Sun and Moon, powering them off and tying their limbs with chains they brought. "I called the police after I noticed the sun animatronic cleaning up a mess of blood in the manager's room," the security guard lady said.
After a little bit, the officers and Vanessa, the security guard, explained to me that there was a possibility that Sun and Moon were involved in a murder recently. As Vanessa had said, Sun was cleaning up blood in one of the staff suites, and she called the police. The police did an investigation, and they found Moon's claw marks in the door, and a trail of bloody prints in the vents leading out to the dumpster. Inside, they found a bag of trash containing a dismembered body they couldn't identify. Mr. Afton had been notified when they discovered the dismembered body, and things weren't looking good right now.
Considering all the incidents like this the Freddy Fazbear franchise has had in the past decades, Mr. Afton would need to either have all the locations shut down and demolished or replace the animatronics in each location with human actors. Either way, Mr. Afton wouldn't be getting any money out of it.

"Who got murdered?" I asked the officer holding me back. "Some guy named Carl. At least that's the name we saw on the door," they replied. "Carl is one of the managers in Upper Management," Vanessa said. "He was one of my superiors,"
Now that was music to my ears. That freak was dead, and I had Sun and Moo nto thank for it. Of course, I wouldn't be able to thank them if they were destroyed, so I decided to test my luck with the law for once.
"Well, even if Sun and Moon were involved in the murder, I'm sure there's a perfectly good reason-"
"And I'm gonna stop you right there, miss. Do you have a hand in this?" one of the officers asked, looking me up and down like a damn tart. I quickly shook my head. "No- Of course not, I'd never ask them to kill anyone, as tempting as it is," I said.
"I just- Moon is a security bot, and he only attacks people if he has a good reason," I said. I knew I was going out on a limb talking to the officers like this, but I had to try something. "I have proof that he was just protecting me, albeit extreme,"
The officers glanced at each other and then looked back at me. Vanessa was staring at me like I had just suggested telling an orphan with a terminal illness that they were going to hell. "And what exactly is this 'evidence' you have?" an officer asked, walking closer.
"I have it recorded on my phone," I paused. "I mean- I have an interaction with carl recorded on my phone, not the murder," I clarified. I was not trying to go to prison after getting my life back together.
"Alright, let me see..." an officer took my phone after I pulled up the recording I had of my encounter with Carl at Bonnie Bowl. I had meant to show it to Mr. Afton or someone in charge, but I quickly noticed that the Fazbear franchise didn't give one shit about their employee's safety or wellbeing, so i ended up just keeping it on my phone.
The officer watched the recording and nodded. "So the guy was a sex offender, got it. Still doesn't justify his death, though," he handed back my phone. "I'll go have a word with Mr. Afton. I'll let this slide only if their programming is changed. If another incident like this happens again, I'm screwing him over,"
Vanessa quickly butted in. "But officer- "But what, hoe?" the officer cut her off. "You already tried to bribe me outside with those peas you call tits. There's evidence that this was somewhat justified, so deal's off," he said bluntly.
I was shocked. Not so much at the fact he just cursed at the security guard, but at the fact he openly admitted to accepting a bribe in broad daylight.
I watched as the police left, leaving Sun and Moon powered off in the corner, still chained up. As soon as they were out of the daycare, Vanessa sighed and left as well, slamming the door shut, leaving me alone.
With that settled, I plopped down on the bed and took a nap, deciding to power on Sun and Moon later.
