𝐁𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 emerald-green eyes gleamed under the fresh morning sun as she opened the doors of her own flower shop.

Her black hair, fading into unusual hues of lavender, was neatly tied in a high ponytail, swaying gently as she moved. Dressed in her usual working attire-a simple apron in a slightly darker shade of purple, matching her hair tips, Rei felt a quiet sense of readiness for the day ahead.

The apothecary, now currently a flower shop owner, narrowed her gaze at the noticeable rays of light that streamed through the entrance, warming her skin and casting a soft glow around her

The sunlight accentuated her delicate features, making her appear almost ethereal in the golden light. It was as if she were a gentle wake-up call to those still lost in slumber, her beauty capable of stirring even the sleepiest souls.

Squinting her eyes against the bright morning rays that hit her face, she chose to ignore the distraction, her vision not quite adjusted to the light, and focused on the task at hand.

While tending to the shop, some neighbors passing by glanced at her blank, almost emotionless face, a smile of recognition spreading across their own. They noted that she had finally opened her shop again, and it felt like a small celebration in the community—a familiar presence bringing life back to the streets after her brief absence.

“Good morning, Hanami-chan!”

“It's been a while!”

“We missed you!”

Rei gently smiled at the familiar voices. Though it had only been a week, their warm reactions made her feel as if she had been gone for months. The apothecary valued these small gestures, even if she wasn't the type to express her feelings openly.

Despite not being socially acquainted with everyone due to her busy schedule, and her ongoing struggle to defend herself from persistent assassins and abductors, she felt a connection with them that she quietly cherished. Offering a simple nod, Rei resumed what she was doing.

Carefully, she arranged the flowers in their designated places, ensuring that each stem was perfectly positioned. After being closed for seven consecutive days due to her day off and other commitments in her laboratory, which often involved constant transactions all over the country—almost each day seemingly dedicated to different regions of Japan, she realized that the shop needed some extra care.
