[Narrator POV]

"W-What..?" Bill asked as he looked Ford in the eyes while he was kneeling before him.

"My house." Ford replied looking in the direction again. "You can come stay with me to warm up and eat some food." Ford suddenly felt Bill leaning on his chest. Ford looked down to see Bill practically sleeping on his chest.

"Bill?" He asked leaning Bill back and shaking him slightly. His eyes were shut tight, but Ford could still see air leaving his mouth. His lips weren't blue but they weren't really a good color either. Noticing Bill's still very pointy ears and teeth, his lips were probably the color for hypothermia, just a demon color... he presumed anyway. Wait, hypothermia? Shit. Ford realized he needed to get Bill warm and quick. He picked Bill up, bridal style, and hurried back to the shack, this time being extra careful to avoid people. Ford wasn't sure what Bill meant when he said everyone hated him, but knowing the sometimes insane actions this town committed, he figured it wasn't good if anyone saw him.

As Ford arrived at the Mystery Shack, he pushed the door open, and quickly scrambled to find a warm place for Bill. He quickly realized Bill also needed water. Ford stripped Bill of his freezing clothes, wrapped him in blankets, then set him next to the fire place. Ford quickly made some tea for him to drink when he woke up.

Bill's eye slowly blinked open. He woke, staring at the ceiling being blinded by the lights, not quite sure where he was or how he got here. Bill felt a strange cloth on the right side of his face. When he sat up to examine it, the blanket wrapping his body fell to the floor. Bill quickly scrambled to get them on and hug them close trying to stay warm.

"Oh! You're awake." A voice behind him spoke. Bill jumped and quickly turned to see Stanford sitting at a table drinking from a cup with another cup steaming on the table. The blanket slowly slipped off Bill's shoulder as he relaxed.

"What's that?" Bill asked. Ford finished his sip and looked to Bill. He was about to respond but was surprised to see tattoos and scars across Bill's arm and over his torso. When Ford had changed Bill out of his soaked clothes, he hadn't noticed anything. Ford had forgotten Bill's human form had scars and tattoos. For a moment he thought back to that night...

"Uhmmm..." Bill spoke, thankfully interrupting Ford's thoughts.

"Huh? Oh! Sorry," Ford slightly blushed and face palmed realizing what he was about to think about. "It's tea." Ford set his own cup down on the table and grabbed Bill's from the top so Bill could grab the handle. As Bill was about to grab it(not by the handle), Ford pulled it away.

"Careful it's hot, you need to hold it by the handle." Ford said lowering it back down for Bill to grab. Bill looked kind of embarrassed, but grabbed it correctly this time. He took a sip; But ended up burning his tongue on it, he stuck his tongue out having the tea in his mouth fall back into the cup. Ford was surprised to see his tongue still snake-like and blue. After he got over the shock from the burn, Bill very reluctantly took a small sip.

"Oh, that's pretty good." He said after finishing his sip. "Thank you." Bill lightly smiled at Stanford.

"Are you still cold?"

"Kind of... I guess." Bill sheepishly said. Stanford sighed, and stood up stretching looking towards the stairs.

"A warm bath could probably help." Ford looked back to Bill, seeing him rather confused. "Do you... not know what a bath is?" He silently shook his head and looked down seeming angry at himself for not understanding. "Uhm... you don't need to feel bad about not understanding."

"What?"

"You seemed upset when I asked about your confusion..."

"Sorry, I just don't know why you're putting up with me..."
