𝐀𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 Luke Combs song in her headphones comes to an end, Estelle's body gets jolted back from the wheels of the plane meeting the ground. Waking from her slumber, she rubbed her eyes, her body stiff from the long flight, but her smile grew wide when she saw Kate still asleep.

"Hey, wake up doofus" Estelle giggles while shaking her sister. Kate groaned, stretching her arms out with a frown, clearly not ready to leave the comfort of her sleep. Out of reluctance, Kate opens her eyes and looks outside at the bright sky, a stark difference to the low lit plane she remembers.

"Yay." Kate says sarcastically as she turns back to face Estelle, a smirk plastered across her face. "We're home.."

"Well ,while you were sleeping your little boyfriend Javi sent me about 40 messages confirming the pickup time so you better be getting ready to carry your ten-million pound suitcase," Estelle says with a smirk in her tone.

Instantly widening her eyes, Kate whispers, "He is not my boyfriend!" Kate rolled her eyes, her lips tightening in mild disgust, though she knew Javi had feelings for her which were, unfortunately, not mutual.

Bringing her hand to her neck, Estelle fumbled with her layered gold necklaces, tugging them free from the tangled mess they'd become while she slept, she mumbles "Well whatever he is," Estelle giggles and leans her head against the headrest "We're meeting him at gate C20 in twenty minutes."

"Yes, mom." Kate says teasingly while holding up her phone, "Hey, let's send a selfie to Javi!"

Estelle leans in towards Kate, still fiddling with her tangled necklaces that she eventually got to lay perfect. Her white babydoll top still looked as crisp as when she boarded, though it was a miracle she hadn't spilled anything on it yet. The girls smile at the camera, Kate's bun appearing perfect despite her hours of sleep.

Kate angled the phone perfectly, her smile practiced but natural, the kind she always used when she wanted to look her best. Estelle, on the other hand, leaned in with a carefree laugh, clearly more focused on the fun of the moment.

As Kate lowers her arm to inspect the picture, Estelle lets out a laugh as she points to a guy in the background, clearly photobombing. "Oh my God, look at this guy!" she laughs out

"That is too good, I'm sending this to him." Kate presses send as her and Estelle continue their giggling at the picture as the sounds of passengers disembarking fade into the background. Almost as if being snapped out of a trance, an old gentleman behind them clears his throat, signaling it's their turn to get off the plane.

Estelle flashed the man an apologetic grin, almost tripping over her own feet as she quickly gathered her things, while Kate stifled a giggle behind her hand.

Javi bit into a crisp piece of bacon, savoring its smoky flavor, when his phone vibrated against the wooden table of the diner. He finished the last morsel with a contented sigh, then wiped his fingers on his napkin before grabbing his phone.
