And now, we're inside at the Music Guild and its daytime when Windy returns and says, "No sign of Spring, but I found these." Lean Heavy examines one of the four crystal shards in the light.
"Wow" he says. " Crystallomancy, Aplot Fardel's Technology. Cool!"
Frustrated at Lean Heavy, Windy states, "He's gone too far."
"Do you have any idea what this means," asked Lean Heavy?
"His machine is broken."
"This means he was right all along, he is smarter than us, after all! I wish I knew how he does that."
Lean Heavy grunted. "My students are always trying to be smarter than me."
"Not me, teacher, I cultivated good looks, not smarts."
Lean Heavy ignored Windy's comment.
"Look at what smarts have achieved for Aplot. What will it cost him trying to outsmart nature?"
"Aplot thinks the Guild is outdated. You can't save the world one fix at a time."
"C'mon, get outta here."
"I would not wish his debt on my worst enemy."
"Let me tell you this about that: I swept him up with a black painted steel single-hand dust pan but when I brushed him out the front door, at the time, I didn't realize I was creating an enemy. Who knew what evil lurked in the heart of the Aplot Fardel. If he sits you down, he will tell you what you need to hear; tell you what you need to do to rebuild your life according to his design. His command of language will convince you that it was your choice to worship to him. If you catch him, Windy, Lock him up. The Ice Machine has given him leverage and his influence becomes more dangerous every day. We must be cautious how we move forward. Lean Heavy tosses the crystals aside and continues. "We must wait for a sign."
A puff of vapor erupts from behind Lean Heavy and Windy observes four people reanimate from the crystals. It's Spring Launcher and the Banned. "The signs on the wall are screaming." 94.7 The River Kinfe...Flowin' Atcha'.
