The wind rushed through the streets, tousling your hair as you stood at the edge of the town square, your heart racing with anticipation. It was a brisk autumn day, and the market was alive with colors and sounds, but you couldn't focus on anything except the flutter of your heart.

You had heard the rumors—whispers carried on the wind about a mysterious wizard who could command the skies themselves. They said he was as beautiful as he was dangerous, and those who crossed paths with him were never the same again. His name? Howl Pendragon.

Your eyes scanned the horizon, searching for any sign of him, though part of you wasn't sure what you were looking for. You had heard so much about Howl, yet you doubted you'd recognize him if he walked by.

As if on cue, a gust of wind swept through the square, stronger than before, and with it came the sensation of something—no, someone—approaching. A strange energy filled the air, and you turned just in time to see him.

He was walking slowly, the crowd parting before him as if they sensed the power he held. His presence was magnetic, drawing eyes to him without a word. His blonde hair fell in waves with the breeze, and his deep blue eyes, like sapphires, gleamed with an intensity that sent shivers down your spine. He wore a flowing colorful coat that billowed behind him.

Howl. That had to be him.

Your breath caught in your throat as he moved closer, seemingly unaware of the attention he was garnering. And yet, when his eyes landed on you, everything around you faded. The bustling market, the sounds of laughter and chatter, even the crisp autumn air—it all disappeared, leaving only you and him in this moment.

"Waiting for someone?" His voice was smooth, like velvet, with an almost teasing edge to it. He stopped before you, tilting his head slightly as if amused by your reaction.

"I—" you stammered, unsure of how to respond. The sheer presence of him had thrown you off balance, and his piercing gaze didn't help matters. "No, just... enjoying the day."

Howl chuckled softly, and the sound sent warmth through your veins. "Is that so?" His eyes never left yours, and you felt as though he could see straight into your soul.

He took a step closer, close enough that you could feel the heat radiating from him, though his expression remained unreadable. "You're not from around here, are you?" It wasn't a question. He knew. He always knew.

You shook your head, unable to tear your gaze away from him. There was something about him that drew you in, something more than just his beauty or the aura of mystery that surrounded him. He was different. Special.

"Then let me show you something," he said, offering his hand to you, palm open. His eyes softened, a small, knowing smile tugging at the corner of his lips. "A dance with the wind, if you will."

You hesitated, glancing down at his hand, then back up to his face. It felt like standing at the edge of a cliff, knowing that if you jumped, there would be no going back.

But the promise in his eyes was impossible to resist.

Slowly, you placed your hand in his, and the instant your fingers touched, a rush of energy surged through you. Before you could react, the ground beneath your feet disappeared, and the world around you spun. You gasped, clutching his hand tightly as the two of you were lifted into the air, carried on an invisible current of wind.

Howl's grip on your hand was firm, his smile widening as he guided you higher and higher above the town. The clouds were soft, like cotton, and the sun bathed everything in a warm, golden light. Your heart raced in your chest, but it wasn't out of fear—it was exhilaration.

"This... this is incredible!" you laughed, the wind rushing through your hair as you soared through the sky, weightless and free.

Howl chuckled again, and you glanced over at him. His eyes were no longer calculating or guarded. Instead, there was a softness to them now, a genuine joy that made your heart flutter.

"Isn't it?" he replied, his voice carried by the wind. "Up here, everything feels so small, doesn't it? All the worries, the troubles... they vanish."

You nodded, understanding exactly what he meant. Up here, it was just the two of you. There was no one else. No expectations, no obligations. Only freedom.

The two of you danced across the sky, twirling and spinning through the clouds as the sun dipped lower on the horizon, painting the world in shades of pink and gold. And through it all, Howl never let go of your hand.

Eventually, as the sky began to darken, he slowed the pace, and the wind gently brought you back to the ground. Your feet touched the cobblestone streets once more, but the magic of the moment lingered, leaving you breathless.

Howl turned to face you, still holding your hand. His eyes met yours, and for a brief moment, you thought you saw something more—something deeper in his gaze. But before you could speak, he gave you a gentle smile.

"Thank you for the dance," he said, his voice soft now, almost tender. "I hope it was worth your time."

You smiled back, your heart still racing. "More than worth it."

He released your hand, and as he turned to leave, the wind picked up again, swirling around him like a cloak. You watched as he disappeared into the distance, his figure fading into the twilight sky.

Even though he was gone, the feeling of his hand in yours, the sensation of flying through the sky with him, lingered like an echo in your heart. You knew that this moment—this dance—would stay with you forever.

And somehow, you had a feeling it wasn't the last time you would see Howl Pendragon.
