The S.S. Tipton, Honolulu, Hawaii
Alex Russo looked at herself in the mirror and smiled: she looked stunning. Even though it was just a dinner with two of Zack's closest friends, Alex continued to remind herself that both of Zack's friends were international popstars and that presentation was important, especially in such an ostentatious setting: they were meeting at Hawaii's most expensive restaurant, after all.
Alex took one last look at herself: you look stunning, she reassured herself. She had let her chocolate brown hair over her shoulders, wasn't wearing any makeup except for a touch of lipstick and some blush, was wearing a shoulder-less black dress that stretched just below her knees and some high heels so she could gloat about being taller than Zack while she still was.
She then heard a sigh from behind her, and she whirled around with her wand in her hand to find Zack staring at her with a dazed but adorable look on his face. Alex chuckled, typical Zack.
"Zack, since how long have you been sitting there?" Alex asked him, an amused look on her face.
"Since you started putting on your light makeup." Zack sighed, fixing her with an adoring look.
Alex sighed, relieved. "Thank goodness you didn't apparate in here any earlier, Zack." she said.
Zack understood what she meant by that and turned as red a strawberry. He fired back at her with "Did you want me to be there, Alex? Because all you had to do was call me and I'd be here."
Alex laughed, desperately trying and failing to hide that she was blushing. "You'll have to wait until we're both 16 years old for that, Zack." she told him, giving him a flirtatious smile.
Zack wrapped his arms around her waist and hugged her, positioning his head on her left shoulder. He gave off a scent of cigars and old leather which Alex found an oddly intoxicating and his usual body warmth made her sigh in contentment. They swayed, hugging for a minute.
After that, Zack drew away slowly. He grinned at her and said, "Come on. It's time for dinner."
Zack offered Alex his right arm in an old-fashioned gentlemanly gesture, and she accepted his hand. They walked off the gangplank, into the warm evening hair of Honolulu, drawing stares all the way: Alex in her raven black dress, holding hands with Zack in his tuxedo.
They eventually found the restaurant and walked in: they were the first ones there. They were shown to a reserved table and sat down, taking in the opulent splendor of the place.
Then, Hannah Montana and Lola Luftnagle walked into the restaurant. Zack stood up and groaned: what was it with all these girls doing the very best to look absolutely stunning? Not that he minded, of course, but he was worried that there might be fights over looks.
Hannah was wearing her signature "Nashville" look: leopard-print top, favorite necklace, zebra-patterned belt, white skirt with numerous black stars on them, no socks and banana yellow shoes. She had also applied eyeliner, blush and make up gently, with it being barely discernible.
Lola, on the other hand, went for an unconventional look: she wore a green shirt and zebra-patterned trousers. She applied the same level of makeup as Hannah and wore a few bangles, making her stand out from the crowd. Alex noticed her hair was now silver instead of purple and realized it was a wig.
Zack grinned and kissed them on both cheeks; they retuned the greeting and hugged Alex before they all sat down and placed their orders: all of them ordered heavy dinners, no doubt feeling hungry because of all the energy they had spent at the concert earlier that day.
