Zaviyar sat in the lawn, his heart heavy with embarrassment and concern. He wanted Mehrunisa to realize the impact her love for Hassan could have, not just on Hassan but on his family's political image as well. Though she was a kind and virtuous girl, she deserved to be with a family that would fully embrace her, without hesitation or conflict.
Zaviyar knew that Hassan was currently swept up in emotions, deeply in love with Mehrunisa. However, he feared that once the initial intensity of their relationship settled, Hassan would begin to focus on his career again. His political ambitions were significant, and Zaviyar worried that Hassan might eventually blame Mehrunisa for any setbacks or distractions his love for her might have caused. In his heart, Zaviyar only wished to protect both Hassan and Mehrunisa, knowing that the future could hold unspoken challenges for them.
Rumaisa stormed over to Zaviyar, her eyes blazing with fury. "Unethical and very rude behavior by you! How could you, Zaviyar?" she scolded, her voice sharp. Without waiting for a response, she sat down beside him, her frustration evident.
Zaviyar, feeling the weight of her anger, nodded slowly. "I didn't mean it like that," he said, his voice low, trying to explain himself.
"Zavy," Rumaisa began, softening her tone but still firm, "Mehrunisa has her own property. She's an independent woman. She's been fighting for her rights over the land against her cousin, and soon, she'll win it. Do you know she's planning to open a school for girls in the village? She's not just thinking about herself but about the future of so many others. With the agriculture land, she'll manage her life perfectly well. She doesn't need your family's money, Zaviyar. She doesn't even rely on her father's wealth. You've misunderstood her completely."
Zaviyar listened in silence, guilt creeping into his heart. "I will apologize to her," Zaviyar said, his tone remorseful.
Rumaisa nodded in agreement. "Yes, you should," she replied softly.

Mehrunisa noticed her phone ringing—it was Hassan calling. She glanced at the screen but chose not to answer. Instead, she lay down on her bed, feeling weighed down by Zaviyar's words. They had hurt her, but deep down, she knew they were the truth.
At home, Zaviyar was still wrestling with guilt. He wanted Mehrunsia to understand how difficult things had become for Hassan and how it was impacting his career. It wasn't that they thought less of Mehrunisa or that her worth was tied to her status, but the complications were undeniable. Still, he struggled with how to convey this without making Mehrunisa feel unwanted.

Hassan was calling. Zaviyar glanced at his phone he answered .
"Is Mehrunisa still at her house?" Hassan asked, his voice tense.
"Ask her yourself. Why are you calling me then?" Zaviyar responded, a hint of frustration in his tone.
"Don't be frustrated. I'm furious at you, but I still understand the complexity of the situation. That's why I didn't bring up the Senate session," Hassan said, his tone sharper now. "You didn't deny anything, and now there's this ridiculous rumor spreading—apparently, I'm marrying the daughter of who?" he added, his frustration evident.
Zaviyar sighed, feeling the familiar headache returning.
"Can you even imagine what I'm going through?" Hassan continued. "Everyone's looking at me strangely, and I feel completely embarrassed. You know that, right?"
