chapter one

kokoro stood in front of what is her new house for the next couple months, her henchmen that moved with her were busy getting all the luggage from the van. she clenched on to her travel bag and saw that weeks prior to the move they removed all the yamasaki symbols from the outside of the house. though they had left the ones inside just because no one would visit anyways.

the house was just on the outskirts of sword, it was remote so one would really come to visit unless you know that a yamasaki safe house was located there. weeks prior to her move to sword, it was reported by the media that kokoro's parents were sending her overseas to protect her. of course it was a lie and it was only a decoy to send her here, if others thought she was overseas then they would be looking at different countries and not in a remote part of sword.

" i know it's not home but it will keep you safe " kanji said, he was the oldest and head of her security team. he had been by her side since she was born and knew this move was bothering her.

kokoro smiled and nodded, " i know. i just miss home already "

" don't worry, you'll be back home before you know it princess " ren stated while wrapping an arm around kokoro's shoulder with a smile.

they all referred to her as princess because that was she was, she was the only girl in the family and she was next in line to take over the business. kokoro nodded once more at ren as the others had just finished getting the bags down. " everyone get settled, security meeting is in two hours " kanji said to everyone.

" let me get your bags princess " haruto said picking up kokoro's two large suitcases. some other clothes of hers would be delivered in the following days. haruto and ren were the two youngest of her team and the two that trained with her. they were only 3 years older than she was but she was the closest to them.

kokoro smiled at haruto as he lead the way towards her bedroom upstairs, he opened the door and set her bags down on the floor. " thank you haruto " he smiled at her before walking out of her room and shutting the door behind him.

two hours later and all of kokoro's team was having their meeting, she normally didn't attend them and kanji would just tell her the plan separately. " okay, we know that shin will enroll as a student at the school to keep on her " kanji stated as the others nodded.

shin had met the minimum requirements to enroll has a part time student at oya, he never got a high school diploma because shin didn't have any parents that cared.  his father and mother were both drunks and didn't give two shits about their son so he became a delinquent. one day in high school he tried stealing from kokoro's father, which he didn't succeed but instead was offered a job by her father.

kokoro's father saw a broken kid rather than a delinquent so he took him in to protect his only child, ever since then he had been kokoro's bodyguard. " our goal is to keep kokoro safe and hidden " shin said. he was also the second in command for her security.

before more was said, kokoro came running down the stairs in a flash and into the room where the meeting was being held. " what it is? " sakuya gave her a confused but concerned look, they all where because it seemed like kokoro was in a hurry.

" i saw a black van from my bedroom window taking pictures of the house " she with her hands on her knees and out of breath.

her security all scrambled to get up and ran towards the panic room where the security cameras were located, riki who was basically the tech wizard scrolled back through the footage to see a black van stopping on the side of the house and the driver very clearly taking a picture of it.

none of them had ever seen this van before and it surely didn't belong to any of the people that were trying to kill her, it was a different van. " we need to look  into this " kanji said looking at his team. " don't worry, we'll find who these people are " he then turned his attention to kokoro who nodded.

she wasn't worried, in fact she was very confident her team would find who ever this was in no time. kokoro walked out of the room and up the stairs. she was going to start getting ready for her first day at oya, she was nervous but knew shin was attending as well so it made her feel a little better and not to mention she could kick some serious ass if anyone tries anything.

kokoro had arrived separately than shin, no one could know they knew each other and how. she was dropped off by kanji and shin had taken the bus towards oya. she walked into the school with all eyes on her, everyone was aware they would be getting a school nurse but someone young and a girl was new to them.

" ah, you must be masako hana " the school principal said. kokoro with her briefcase in hand turned around to greet him with a bow and smile.

" nice to meet you " hana stated bowing once more.

the principal chuckled a little, " come on i'll show you around " he said before leading the way. kokoro nodded and trailed next to him as he was going on about the school and students.

along the way she passed by students who were eyeing her like she was prey and they were predators looking for their next meal. one student in particular caught her interest because he had several students surrounding him and he was lying down on a couch.

" this is your new school nurse, treat her nicely " the principal said calling out to the group of students, especially the one on the couch.

the guy on the couch, with a bandanna sat up and eyed kokoro. the others were trying to size her up and scare a little but it wasn't working because she gave them an innocent smirk. " nice to meet everyone, i hope we can get along " she said bowing.

" come on hana, we have more of the school to see " the principal said.

after taking a tour of the entire school, the principal finally showed her the nurse's office. it looked like it wasn't used in years and the walls were covered in graffiti. " as you can see we haven't had a nurse in a while. hopefully the guys don't cause too much trouble for you " he simply said and walked out of the office.

kokoro looked around the room and realized it was going to take some elbow grease to clean the place up and not make it look like a tornado just blew through it. she sat her briefcase down and started to move furniture around, this was seriously going to take all day to clean.
