ABHAY KAUSHIK POV

I tapped the fingers of both of my hands on the steering wheel anxiously,

I am going to see Roohi today

As soon the red light turned green I pressed my foot on the accelerator and changed the gear, speeding my car as much as I could .

I peaked on the location that Anvay sent me and again my chest pained while my heart beat increased.
I bit on my inner cheek .

I have just met her once that too we didn't talked much . In these four years there were times my whole days dedicated to her while there were some days too i didn't even remember her once still Every time there is any mention of love, my mind directly imagines her.
In these four years i tried to know where she was and because of that i always tried to maintain good relations with Birlas and used to visit them often but still she was never home.

"I am finally going to see her today"

As soon as I made this statement in my head my mind went to yesterday's morning where I was equally anxious standing on the bus stand prior an hour the time Anvay told me.
But she didn't came .

I increased the speed of my car to make sure I don't loose my chance to see her again totally forgetting that I am already at the location Anvay has sent me .

Till i spotted them sitting on a bench on side of road .

I pulled the break with as much power I had and the car stopped a little forward where they were sitting .

As the car stopped my heart beat increased to the level I could hear it in my ears as if my heart was gonna come out of my mouth.

I removed my seatbelt and opened the gate. I still wasn't ready enough to accept that my wait of four years is finally going to over today.

AUTHOR'S POV

Roohi was sleeping keeping her head on Anvay's shoulder , her face wasn't visible being covered with a wet hanky Anvay might have put on her forehead to take her fever down.

Abhay took clumsy steps towards them his eyes fixed on Roohi completely ignoring Anvay who was waving at his brother .

"Bhai"Anvay called to which Abhay finally got in his senses.

"Y..ya"

"Bhai has a high fever and is dozed off after eating medicine"

"So, we should inform her family or take her to her family ( Birlas) "
Anvay thought for a moment and remembered yesterday's night where Roohi cried and talked about her family he didn't understand whatever she was saying but he knew that Roohi don't share enough good bond with her family.

"No, we can't do that"

"Why?"

"No we can't without her permission
We should take her to some hospital nearby as I don't think it is just a fever"

"So, you mean we can't talk to her family without her permission but can take her to the hospital without permission."
Although Abhay said this line he knew if he took Roohi to her family he would lose his chance to talk or know her.
So after thinking about sometime he agreed to take her hospital first.

After some time Three of them were sitting in the car Abhay was driving while Anvay was sitting beside Roohi giving her support as they didn't wake her up .

In hospital

Roohi was lying on the hospital bed unconsciously while a drip attached to her hand .

While on the other side of the room a doctor was telling Abhay and Anvay that Roohi might be having high fever from yesterday or the day before but she took a high dose of medicine probably without any prescription that too many which made her unconscious.
Apart from that she might haven't eaten anything from yesterday.

After the doctor went Abhay and Anvay stood in the room

"We should inform her family, it's important now" Abhay said to Anvay who was too lost staring at Roohi and thinking about the night how broken she looked.

That is when Roohi's phone lying on side table of Roohi's bed rang with "Shivu bhaiya" flashing on it .

Knowing Shivansh is elder brother of Roohi Abhay took the call and just when he said hello Anvay snatched the phone from his hand and disconnected the call.

"What are you doing??"

Abhay and Anvay started arguing if they should tell her family or not where Anvay was declining continuously knowing somewhere her family is the reason for her illness not physically but mentally.

Before they could come to any conclusion Roohi woke up and called Anvay.
Anvay turned back and saw Roohi awake he went near her and asked how she was while Abhay came and stood beside Anvay .

"What is happening" Roohi asked trying hard to remember while Anvay took the remote and made her bed in a sitting position.

Anvay told Roohi how after she slept on that bench last night even after trying multiple times she didn't wake up so they took her to the hospital.

Roohi looked at Abhay to which Anvay told her that he was Abhay his brother.

Roohi was fully awake by now and forwarded her hand to shake with Abhay , Abhay reciprocated it with a smile trying to hide the Butterflies in his stomach.

After that Anvay and Roohi talked for some moments while Abhay was still looking at his hand which Roohi just touched.

"Please tell me you didn't told Birlas or Goenkas about it" Abhay heard Roohi saying while he tried to compose himself.

"We didn't but your brother's call came"
Abhay spoke .

"Whom??and you guys didn't pick the call right"

"I did but Anvay didn't let me talk to Shivansh"
Abhay said and forwarded Roohi her phone.
"But he was already shouting on the call"

"Huh?shouting?" Roohi tried to remember and realised
"Maybe Abhir would have told him about you"
Roohi said looking at Anvay.

"What about me exactly?"

After that Roohi told them how it was nothing serious but Shivansh was just possessive for her .

While Abhay was shocked that Anvay had visited Roohi's house.

After that Roohi asked Anvay why he stopped her cab at night and Anvay told her the whole story which was new and shocking for Abhay too.

"Are you sure?" Roohi asked being shocked

"Yes, okay you tell me where you told that driver to take you"

Roohi told him the address of a hotel to which Abhay got more shocked and told them that he picked them up from the exact opposite direction.

For some moments they were all silent thinking what could have happened with Roohi and was was also not really in her senses.
