Jeon Mingu was instructing his guards and maids to arrange a grand celebration for his two sons' 16th birthday, but unexpectedly, he received a letter from the Daegu King Kim Tae-hoo. He opened it and read:

Presented with Kim’s✨

Years had passed like hell for Hari and Tae-hoo, knowing their son was safe and protected in King Mingu’s palace. Now, Yoongi was 21 years old and had a boyfriend. Namjoon and Hobi were 20 and also had lovers, yet they still cried for their little brother.

As for Yoongi? He never forgot the pain he felt remembering the news of his little bear’s death. Hari and Tae-hoo now wished to bring their younger son back, for it had been years. They believed it was time to return their bear to the palace, so they sent a letter requesting King Mingu’s visit to the forest.

Now, Jeon Mingu, Kim Tae-hoo, and Kim Hari stood in the forest, awkwardly exchanging glances. Hari soon cleared her throat.

Hari: “Greetings, King Mingu.”
Mingu smiled at them.
Mingu: “Greetings, King Tae-hoo and Queen Hari.”

Hari: “Actually, we have something to tell you.”
He nodded.
Hari: “A-Actually… our son is at your palace.”
Mingu frowned at her words.

Mingu: “Why would your son be at my palace? I don’t understand anything you’re saying.”
Tae-hoo and Hari sighed.
Tae-hoo: “The dragon in your home… is our son.”

Mingu’s eyes widened at the realisation. The King of Daegu was a dragon.

Mingu: “W-What…”
His words caught in his throat in utter shock.

Hari and Tae-hoo began to explain everything from that day—why they had kept silent, and the reasons behind their actions. Mingu understood their situation. Hari wept, her heart clenched and broken. She had abandoned her younger son in the forest.

Mingu: “Should we reveal the truth on their 16th birthday? What do you say?”
Hari: “Y-Yeah, it's in just five days. We will come to Busan—will that be alright, King Mingu?”
She asked playfully, and he nodded, smiling.

Mingu: “Of course, and my son will be happy to know about this.”

They left for their kingdom, unaware that one of the guards was smirking as he secretly returned to his own kingdom.

Upon reaching the kingdom, the guard found the king and prince seated on their thrones, deep in conversation.

Guard: “Your Majesty, I bring great news.”
His words caught the attention of both king and prince. The king nodded and gestured for him to speak.

Guard: “Majesty, the King and Queen of Daegu—Kim Tae-hoo and Hari—their child did not die. He’s alive, raised in Busan at King Jeon Mingu’s palace.

They plan to visit Busan in five days, which is their son's birthday (Jungkook). Also, Majesty… their child isn’t ordinary—he’s a dragon.”

He dropped the bomb. The king recalled what his mistress once said—it was a rare one. A smirk spread across his lips.

???: “Now, it will be more fun. Let’s see how they meet again.” He whispered to his son, who only smirked in return.

Today in Daegu~

At the Kim palace, everyone was preparing for the Busan celebration—even Jimin, Jin, and Lisa, their sons' lovers.

Yoongi: “Eomma, why do I have to come out today? You know I never leave the bear’s room on this day.” He spoke with a blank expression.

Since that day, Yoongi had always stayed locked inside his little brother’s room, crying in silence. For sixteen long years, he had missed his little brother, yearning to be with him—knowing he couldn’t, yet still holding onto hope.

Tae-hoo, Hari, and the rest of the family looked at Yoongi with sadness—they too loved their little bear. But for Yoongi, it was different. He had dreamt of holding his little bear in his arms, feeding him, pouring love on him, and spoiling him with care along with his younger brothers.

Tae-hoo: “Please, Yonni, just for a few hours… I promise you won’t regret coming.”

Hari: “Yes, Yooni… please, for me. Or just for our little bear, please.” She pleaded softly.
