**Izuku's POV**
It was late at night as I tinkered with my power suit. It had become a very impressive item, which reminded me of Iron Man's, but much less bulky.
Due to Melissa providing me with new American nanofiber technology, I managed to make the power suit look just like my normal hero costume.
This made me so giddy with excitement, as my previous prototypes had been a little bulky, and the entire suit weighed around 20 pounds. But I was able to cut down the weight and keep the same amount of power, with even more durability.
My All Might headphones blasted some retro pop song as I hummed along.
Life wasn't the best, but I still had plenty of time to sit and enjoy my new life at school and with Kacchan.
The music in my headphones cut off suddenly, and an emergency alarm started playing.
I could hear it coming from the rooms around me. It said, "Warning: Regional Earthquake Warning, Evacuate Immediately!"
Just then, the entire building began to shake—not just a little tremble, but enough to knock me off my feet.
Screams of terror erupted from the building, and against my better judgment, I threw on my power suit before evacuating, just in case.
I tumbled down the staircases as Iida ran through the halls, checking if everyone was evacuating.
The lights flickered on and off, so I was unaware of who I was bumping into as we all clambered out of the trembling building.
It was thundering outside—what terrible luck we had. Wind was blowing buckets of water into our eyes, making it nearly impossible to see.
I had to put my hand to my forehead to see where I was going.
Once I was outside the building, I couldn't tell if everyone had made it out due to the low visibility.
The ground still trembled below me, and I was constantly getting jostled by an elbow or shoulder.
It felt like I was surfing on the soggy grass. I had time to put on my power suit but not enough time to grab shoes... smart, real smart.
Just then, the entire dorm building collapsed partly with an ear-splitting crumbling and tearing.
Thunder added to the cacophony like it was upset it wasn't getting all the fear it deserved.
"Earthquakes usually don't last this long! What the fuck is happening?" Kacchan screamed from behind me, barely audible over the screams and the storm around us.
Mr. Aizawa was sprinting toward our building as fast as possible. "Is everybody here!?" His shouts got carried away by the wind as soon as they left his mouth.
"Jirou!!" Kaminari screamed louder than everyone else, looking around frantically for the purple-haired girl.
I did a quick look around and realized she hadn't made it out of the building.
Before I knew what I was doing, I was running into the building, which was still shaking. I heard an explosion and saw Kacchan right behind me.
"Can't! Let! You! Get! All! The! Glory!" He yelled in between a combination of explosions and jumping over rubble.
The stairway was completely blocked off. Kacchan tried to blast away the debris, but it did nothing but cause a flashbang of light in the dark and dusty area.
Rain was starting to pour in everywhere. As it drummed down against the partially collapsed roof
"Night light!" I shouted at Kacchan.
