(Chapter 10) Life, is really good

**Izuku's POV**

It was the day before school started, and I was making my way through the familar campus.

U.A felt like home, and I was going to try my best to stay here.

I met at the training ground where I went on the day of the entrance exam. It was still a large city landscape, but without any large robotic monsters.

"Hello, Midoriya!" Principal Nezu jumped out from an alleyway, startling me.

"H-hello Principal Nezu" I greeted the small mammal

"Your test today will be a simple test of your abilities in three different situations: a villian battle, a civilian rescue, and a hostage situation!" Principal Nezu explained eagerly.

"And to help we have All Might, Mr. Aizawa, and Present Mic!" Principal Nezu pointed to the alley he came out of, and the teachers walked out into view.

"I am here!" All Might shouted, coming up to me and squeezing me in a ribbreaking hug

"I-I. Can't. Breathe." I mangaged to choke out

All Might let go of me "Ah! Sorry young Midoriya"

All Might was still surprisingly strong in his deflated form

"Let's get started shall we!" Principal Nezu cheered

Present Mic cleared his throat and all of the teachers quickly got out of the way and plugged their ears.

"HELLLLLOOOOOO!!!!!" Present Mic blasted at me with his quirk.

I steadied myself and covered my ears, the suit was giving my legs the extra strength to stand up to his quirk, but it would give way soon.

I quickly rolled out of the way dodged sound blast, after sound blast until I was close enough.

While Present Mic took a breath in I used my scarf I got from Gran Torino and I gagged him disabling his quirk. Then I used martial arts to pin him to the ground where he trashed but eventually laid defeated.

"Very good young Midorya!" All Might came up to me and patted me on the back, beaming with pride.

I got off of Present Mic and he spat out my scarf

"Do you ever wash that thing..." he cried disgusted, wiping his tounge on the inside of his shirt.

Mr. Aizawa came up to Present Mic and laughed with him. That was one of the only times I'd ever seen Mr. Aizawa laugh before. I hadn't noticed how close he and Present Mic were.

I passed through the rescue situation easily, as All Might laid trapped under some rubble with questionable acting skills.

Then the final test came.

I had to fight both Mr Aizawa and Present Mic while protecting All Might.

It was hard to get close to Present Mic without leaving All Might open to either a sound blast from him or an attack from Mr. Aizawa.

I managed to do it by utilizing a new feature on my suit that Hatsume added for me, which shot a net. By planning it correctly I was able to catch both Mr. Aizawa and Present Mic in one shot.

I did it! I had actually done it! I passed all my tests and proved that I was just as capable at being a hero as anyone else!

Tears began running down my face and all my teachers gathered around me cheering for me.

Present Mic lifted me up on his shoulders while they all clapped and cheered. Through tearfull eyes I got to see the teachers of pro heros that I loved, acknowledging my ability and even being proud of me. I don't think I could've felt happier.
