Haydée stood in front of one of the paintings, intently examining every detail. The quiet atmosphere of the museum, the soft whispers of visitors, and the pleasant scent of old books and wood always calmed her. But today, she wasn't alone—Hugo stood beside her. Or rather, he stood next to her and pretended to be interested in the paintings. He tried to appear engaged, but Haydée, who knew him well, could easily tell that it wasn't his cup of tea.

Hugo had taken her on a date to the museum, which was quite unusual for him. He usually preferred more action-packed activities—sports events, meeting friends, or nights out at the bar. This time, however, he wanted to do something for her. And while she appreciated his effort, it was clear that he wasn't comfortable here. She would have preferred to be alone because looking at him only diminished the joy she felt being in the museum.

"What do you think, Hy?" Hugo asked, nodding towards the paintings hanging on the gallery walls. His voice sounded a bit forced, as if he was more interested in how long they would stay than in genuinely appreciating the art. His question seemed more like a formality than a real attempt to understand what she liked or what was interesting about the paintings. Haydée knew he was asking just to appear attentive, but he wasn't really expecting an answer—he'd listen to it as a good boyfriend should, but would immediately forget everything his girlfriend said.

Haydée smiled and glanced at Hugo's restless expression. "I think it's beautiful," she replied, still focused on the painting. "Look at the colors. They're so vivid yet so delicate." Her gaze was lost in the subtle transitions and shades the painting offered. Every line and tone evoked a feeling as if she were touching something deep and personal. Haydée was a lover of sculptures, but she also understood and loved visiting galleries. It was like a journey to another world where she could take a break from everyday worries and be carried away by the beauty of art.

When she met Alexandra, it was this passion for art that brought them closer. Charles, Alexandra, and Haydée often spent weekends visiting galleries or art exhibitions—whenever he had the time, he was in Monaco and didn't have to be somewhere racing. It was a place where Haydée felt truly herself, and it was through this passion that she and Alexandra connected. Each gallery visit was an opportunity for new discoveries and enriching her world.

"This particular piece fascinates me," Haydée continued, noticing Hugo's slightly bored expression. "It's interesting how the artist managed to convey emotional states through colors and shapes. This painting reminds me of how important it is to be perceptive to details. Even though it seems like a simple composition, there are so many layers hidden within."

Hugo nodded, but Haydée could see that his thoughts were already elsewhere. It was clear that art didn't captivate him as it did her. "That's great that you see it that way," he said with a smile that seemed more out of obligation than genuine interest. "How about we check out the next exhibition? I heard they have a new collection of modern art."
