There was a loud chirping of birds outside Becky's window. Her heart hammering over her chest like a music thumping down with every beat. She can't sleep, she couldn't get the idea of Freen out of her head as she navigate through the day. Freen is gorgeous, everyone can tell. Yet, her incapability to open her mouth to speak get everyone infuriated how she choose to silence herself in between moments that the only thing that'll matter is her voice.
She tossed, and turned, and buried her face in the comfort of her pillow before standing up and fixing her bed. It's another day, another time to face reality, another moment to conquer. Becky, was raised with wealth, everything she need will be provided, everything even the things she never asked for will be given. That's how her parents show her that they care. By giving her material things, by filling in the void of their absence in a sense of giving them things they know they never wanted.
Unfair. Wealthy people always ran with time to expand their wealth. To expand their properties neglecting the needs of their child. So, as Becky grew up, she couldn't remember a time where both her parents were around. It's always just her and her alone.
It was 3 pm, Becky was bored and she need to do something to silence her mind from the figure it draws. She have to get drunk, to get wasted, to get intoxicated and forget everything her mind is fogging up. She called Tee, her best friend. She had to get drunk. She had to forget. When three rings echoed and the woman didn't picked up, Becky decided to drop by and fetch her. So without further delays, Becky droved her car and stopped in front of Tee's apartment.
"What are you doing here?" The woman asked furrowing her brows seeing Becky all in black leaning in her Mazda.
"I wanna get drunk." She replied. "Let's go out."
"What? I thought you said you'd be in alcohol fasting? What happened to that now?" She asked.
"I just wanted to get drunk. Now shut up and hop in so we can go."
Becky ordered, she hate being interrogated. So instead, Tee hop inside her car and let her best friend lead their way.
Taps, sighs, and indistinct snapping of her fingers, Becky sat restless on the driver sit as if she is in big trouble. She knew she can't involve Freen in her stupid games, but somehow... Deep down inside her hope that the other girl would understand. It was her Dad's order, if she can't find a lover then she would be force to date Nita. The daughter of her father's friend.
When they reached the bar, Becky directly chug a cup of martini, she even ordered the strongest one to easily get drunk. Tee, who's looking at her creased her forehead and asked. "Hey, what's wrong? You don't usually drink this fast."
Becky rolled her eyes. " I just wanna get drunk is that not allowed?"
"Becky you can't get that wasted, you know we have an early shift tomorrow." Tee replied reminding Becky about their early lessons the next morning. But, Becky as she is, never paid any ears towards her friend.
"I wanna get drunk... I have to forget. I have to at least mend this void in my heart. I have to... I—"
"Her slow down okay? Just... Please take it easy."
Becky nodded. In the heat of the moment, Becky found herself getting much more intoxicated than she intended, her eyes getting blurry, head spinning and her senses slowly drifting away. Just as she regained her composure, little by little, the woman she dislikes suddenly appear in an abrupt manner.
"Well well... Look who we have here." It was Davika. She look stunning Becky won't let, yet despite her undeniable beauty, Becky can't find herself being attracted to the woman.
"Leave us alone Davika. The least we wanted to see right now is you." Tee prompted, she shielded her friend from the woman hiding her behind her back.
"I just wanna talk to my future girlfriend Tee... Why so scared?"
"I don't wanna talk to you!" Becky manage to exclaim without stuttering. "Why can't you just leave me alone? Why can't you accept that I don't like you and nowhere between the heavens and earth would I ever like you! Are you a masochist? Stupid? Or whatever?" Becky confronted. She tore down Davika's hope many times, but in spite the rejections, Davika seem to find more courage to try and pushed her remaining luck.
"You can always teach the heart Becky, and we can work together to teach yours to love me." Just as she leaned to touch Becky, Tee pushed her back. Her eyes piercing through Davika as she glared at the green eyed woman.
"Leave. Or you can't get out of this bar anymore." She warned.
"Feisty ha... Don't worry Tee, i'll leave without putting force on me. No need to get mad." She replied. " Bye babe." Davika walked away, her hips swinging sideways as she took her leave. Becky on the other hand, was being pulled by Tee to get out of the bar, albeit the two of them are tipsy, Tee manage to drive both of them safely home.

"What? No! No! No! Why is she here? I thought she already finished studying right? Why do she have to enroll back in and worse it why do she have to study in here?" Becky frustratedly groaned. She just heard about Davika's admission to the university, all she knew is that the woman already completed her educational attainment. What's more is there to study?
"I don't know too Bec. Rumors said she came here to get close to someone. More like to get close to you." Nop replied.
"Fuck this! She's making it harder for me to breath! Is she stupid? How many times would I reject her till her brain accept the fact that I don't wanna be with her!"
"Becky if you wanted someone so bad and they don't want you what would you do?" Kade interrupted.
"I'd do whatever it takes for them to like me. If I wanted them, I would find a way to make them want me too." She replied. Her tongue roll down the words surely, she knew what she wanted and she knew she would do things just for someone to like her back.
"Then that's what Davika is doing. She would do anything to get you. If we wanted someone we would always want to do such things to get them to be attracted to us."
"But that's not love Kade if we keep pushing ourselves towards the person we love if they don't love us. Love is not selfish, and being persistent is not a definition of it." Becky added. She isn't naive enough to not see what's right from distinct, and she isn't immature enough to not be able to see the turn of things. "Davika claimed to love me, yet love doesn't own one being. If we love someone we shouldn't own them, and we don't force them. If they don't feel the same way about us, we let it go, not force it's away." She replied.
As she navigated through her day, Becky can't wrapped her head on the figure of the other woman. Each second that passes, the pressure on her shoulder keeps building up, and Davika is not making it easier for her. She is insistent. But Becky is much more stubborn.
