"How are you?" Becky asked.

I lead to the rooftop a while ago after I opened my window. There, I saw her, her cheerful voice elided in my ears when I opened my window. She was now seated next to me -patterned crop top worn on her upper and a parachute jeans paired with it. Her hair is laying low creating a highlight of her glorious beauty. The light, flick a bit on her face making her much more ethereal.

"I'm good." I signed. I still am over the moon knowing she came here to check on me. But, the lingering question on what her intents are on me still haunts me.

"I'm sorry about what Davika did." She cooed, guilt evident on her face but her eyes was looking at a distance. I myself, didn't look at her. I don't know if I can, or if I would or else I would melt.

"It doesn't matter. It already happened." I signed. "We can't do anything to undo it."

She sighed. Her jaw clenches a bit-her eyes met the sky, her smile faint for a while before exhaling a huge amount of air. " I know, but still... She shouldn't have done that." I know she wouldn't have done that. I would like to say. But I didn't dare utter any of it to her, no matter what I say I'd still get hurt. Regardless of it all, they would still inflict me pain. "Don't worry, i'll try my best to keep her away from you. I won't let her hurt you again." She exclaimed.

"Thank you." I didn't say anything else. Not that I don't want to, I just don't know what to say. Becky and I are two people who doesn't share anything in common and we are mere strangers to each other.

How would you communicate, when in the first place you weren't close enough to be even talking? How can you talk, when you don't entirely know the person you're talking to.

"Freen?" She called making me flit my head towards her directly into her. She looked at me with pure innocence, that gaze that could melt your heart away, something that look so blank but yet it held a lot of unspoken thoughts, a lot of hidden miseries in her eyes. I gave her a puzzled expression, my eyes darting from her eyes to her hand that's holding a small box. "I bought this for you." She handed me the little gray box making me quirk my eyebrows upward.

"Don't worry that's not a ring, it's something else. But i'll assure you it's not a ring I won't -" I pressed my index finger on her lips stopping her from talking. She was startled, her eyes shoot wider than it was when she felt my finger on her lips.

"Say no more." I signed before taking the box from her hand.

"I bought that for you... It's a peace offering. I notice Davika broke your watch so I went and replace it." She explained. I opened it with a smile plastered in my lips, yet, despite of me being happy, my lips failed to show it since I am not use on expressing what I truly felt directly. But deep down in me, I am happy and touched that she notice even the small details that is connected to me.

I opened the box and saw a John Kennedy nastrix timepiece watch. It's one of the most expensive watches in the country, it was way more expensive that the watch I had that Davika broke. It was water resistant with 14 karat yellow gold case featuring a 57-jewel movement.
