"So dude, please context?" Noah said, shocked.
"It's an actual long story..." Henry explained.
"Good lord." Nick pinched his forehead.
The silence was awkward, they sat at the round dinner table, in equal distance between eachother, it felt like a courthouse around. Since the tension was making pressure, Henry started to sweat and shake.
"I have various confessions to make." Henry chimed in.
"No shit!" Noah blurted out.
"Shut up Noah." Nick raised his tone.
"So, i've been going to therapy lately, it's because of a condition I have." Henry explained. "It's called Dissociative Identity Disorder, and it basically means that I have a split personality kind of thing."
"Like Moon Kn-" Noah asked before he was interrupted.
"Yes, like that guy." Nick sighed.
Henry looked down and cleared his throat.
"The other identity's name is Holden, he's my other half, technically, but we're like whole different people."
"And what does this have to do with anything?" Noah raised his hand, as if he was gonna ask the teacher a question, his eyes still side open, filled with confusion.
"Remember that sleepover when you fell asleep first and you woke up with 30 different scribbles all around your body?" Henry asked.
"Mhm, I still don't know how ya' got to scribble on my nape."
"That was the night that my Alter-Ego took over and went to screw Nicholas."
"Huh." Noah blurted out.
"See, it's better if I tell you the long story." Henry sighed.
Nick only looked at both of them with a sick expression.
- - • [8 Months Before] • - -
Everything started 8 months before, at this time, Nicholas was still dating Ellie, and they were just the perfect pair.
That, it seemed, but reality is a whole different story.
Henry went to hang out at Noah's house, and Nick was out for a party that Nick wasn't invited to, they decided to cope with a sleepover.
"Dude, they're the ones missing out." Noah said. "I'm too awesome for this world."
"Keep telling yourself that." Henry chuckled.
"But like for real, why Nick? Just because he's a football player?" Noah raised his hands in a dramatic play.
"That's literally the reason why he's more popular, Football charms people." Henry sighed.
"If he wasn't there already I could sneak into the party without anyone noticing..." Noah schemed a plan, which left Henry thinking with a dumbfounded expression.
"Everyone knows Nick does have a sense of fashion, and a somehow attractive personality." Henry rolled his eyes.
"Right? He's a dick to everyone but everyone seems to follow his direction!" Noah complained, throwing his hands in the air in a dramatic fit, then crossing his arms.
Noah finished setting up the game console, connecting the cord into the TV.
"I just wish people even looked my way." Noah sighed.
