"You do not have to cook all this." I said putting my keys on the counter wrapping my arms around her waist.
She smiled looking up at me while peeling potatoes. "We're hosting thanksgiving this year of course I do besides, with my dad and your friends we might not even have an enough." She joked.
I bit my lip fighting back a laugh before pecking her lips a couple times.
"You need any help?" I asked tapping her butt.
"Nah I got it you just got home go relax they playing the Halloween marathon still." She said handing me the bowl with the last of our Halloween candy.
"You sure?"
"Boy for all I know you can be in cahoots with your mom." She said playfully shoeing me away.
I scrunched my face up laughing. "My mom?"
Her face lit up as she took out her mac and cheese from the oven.
"I went to visit your mom today and brought her some lunch and she challenged me to mac and cheese cook off." She said scooping some with a fork.
"Lord how she doing?" I asked as she blew on the food.
"She's great try this." She said stepping between my legs.
I opened my mouth taking a bite groaning lowly from the taste.
"You like it?" She smiled dragging the word it.
I wrapped my arms around her waist again smiling. "I love it."
"Good." She said glancing at the tv.
"You know we ain't gotta watch this scary shit right?" I said following her gaze before looking back at her.
"I'm over Michael Myers for now but you know Nightmare on elm street is my comfort movie." She said walking back to the kitchen.
I shook some skittles in my hand before throwing it in my mouth. "You know I love you right?" I asked her.
"All this cooking and cleaning I've been doing you better." She joked putting her hand on her hip.

I jumped up seeing Davo over me.
I sighed realizing I must've fell asleep.

I yawned stretching as the tv blared music, Lani came across the screen causing me to groan.
