Shu Ning entered the inn and made his way towards the top floor where his room lay. Most adventures had already bought themselves their own hut somewhere, so the place was almost completely empty. He sat on the bed and tiredly rubbed his eyes but didn't allow himself to fall back yet. There were still somethings to do.

Shu Ning: "Alpha. Go and logg me off."

System: "Sure thing."

The world around Shu Ning blurred for a second and then turned black. With effort he opened his eyes in the realworld again and his gaze fell onto the bed's surface. The Man atop it was still peacefully sleeping and his chest rose and fell with each breath he took.

Shu Ning stretched out his paws in front of him and yawned. Then he got up and jumped next to the sleeping male onto the bed. He made sure that the other was still properly hydrated and got all of the nutrition the guy needed before taking care of his own physical needs.

In the kitchen he opened the refrigorator and looked inside. It was almost completely empty now, as most of the edibles had gotten modly over time and had to be disposed of. Shu Ning had returned to this house a lot during his time here and took care of cleaning the place up. So when his owner finally woke up, there wouldn't be a complet mess greeting him. Unfortunately there was no way to buy any new food with how things stood.

Shu Ning stuck his nose into a plastic container full of yoghourt and sniffed. There wasn't much left inside it anymore but it had to do for now and it also didn't smell too bad yet. Sticking out his tongue, he started licking up the remains in the container until it was truly empty. Then he threw it into the trash bin in the corner and made his way back towards the bed. Now he could finally get the rest he so urgently needed. As soon as he closed his eyes, he fell into a deep and comfortable sleep, lulled by the soft breathing beside him.

When he woke up again, Shu Ning found himself back inside of the game. Only a few hours had gone by since he had left this place but he still felt rested and wide awake. He got out of bed and went into the bathroom to clean out his mouth. Afterwards he descided to pay another visit to the poisonous swamp as he had noticed a lot of flowers and stones littering the place. They must be worth something as it wouldn't be easy to farm them with all of those tentacle like vines getting in the way.

With his mind made up, Shu Ning followed the same path he had gone with the Protagonist the day before. This time he reached the place quicker, probably because he didn't have to constantly wait up for another person. He trecked through the ankle deep mud and paied proper attention to the purple swamps all around him. As soon as the liquid started mooving and forming small waves, he steeped to the side and it calmed down again. Like this he avoided being attacked by the vines and managed to gather up his recources in peace.

Shu Ning leaned down to grab the stem of another flower when he felt a pair of eyes watching him. He lifted his head and looked around but couldn't find anything amiss. Frowning, he got back to his task and placed a few more stones in his inventory that he had to digg up from the wet earth. When the strange sensation didn't pass though, he surveyed the vicinity again. This time trying to be less obvious. Still, there was nothing.

Shu Ning was just about to give up his search when he noticed a small movement towards his left. But as soon as his eyes strayed back there, there was nothing but a rock to be seen. His lips pursed in thought and he stepped closer to the stone. The shadow trembled slightly as if something was mooving further away, the closer he got. Carefully, so to not scare the thing away, he peaked behind the rock and saw a small little egg covering in the dark.

It had a crack at the top of it's head, filled with bubbling lava that was flowing down it's face. It's arms and legs were growing out of it's shell and two large eyes were fearfully gazing up at him. The creature looked somewhat cute and deffinitely not very dangerous. It was way too shy to pose any proper threat, eventhough it was never good to judge a book by it's cover, but Shu Ning liked to trust in his instincts.
