Narrator: It's the year 2080, a new society created. There is a new virus. The HAV virus. (Human attacking vampire virus) It has been discovered by some Russian scientists that have made a conclusion that the virus was most likely born around 4 decades ago in the year 2040.

Since then the virus has spread across the entire planet earth. In this new society there are regular civilians, scientists who specialize in learning about the HAV virus, Vampire Hunters, Vampires, and lastly HV Breeds.

Data found from a small sample of the HAV virus and human DNA have shown us that the virus doesn't fully attack the human cells in everyone infected with the virus. For some humans infected with the virus they have no symptoms since the virus remains dormant for some people infected with the virus.

Some individuals DNA completely changes into Vampire DNA because of their original human DNA being completely overtaken by the HAV virus. However.. some individuals infected with the virus only partially turn into a vampire, these individuals are called HV Breeds.

HV Breeds are usually half human half vampire, sometimes not exactly half, some are mostly vampire with a bit of human DNA and with some individuals it's the opposite, mostly human with a bit of vampire DNA. Antibiotics and experimental treatments are given to everyone who is found to be infected.

Thankfully with advanced technology, from scientists they have discovered an  effective drug and vaccine against the HAV virus. The drug is 95% effective meaning most people infected completely recover and are left with their human DNA left unaltered by the virus.

The HAV vaccine however is more effective with a 99% effectiveness percentage. Most people who take the vaccines every year will never get infected even if they come in contact with someone with the virus who is contagious.

Scientists have also discovered that not everyone with the virus or vampire DNA is contagious.

Scientists have discovered that contagious individuals have hot blood when drawn, and individuals who aren't contagious have room temperature blood when drawn. But this also means that you can only tell who's contagious if you get access to a blood sample of them.

The government has advised every president of every country to have at least one vampire hunting team in every country to assure the regular civilians safety. Each vampire hunter is assigned to eliminate anyone who is incurable of the disease. There is not a cure found to be 100% effective, this is why some people with the virus recover and don't become a vampire and some do.

Scientists determine if someone is incurable if they don't respond well to treatments against the HAV virus. If cured then you're free to go if not then you are eliminated.

Every year everyone is obligated to take a HAV virus test. If you have it you are either quarantined into a facility where you will either recover or if not.. you will be eliminated.

Not only this but when an individual turns 18 they are legally required to take a test. This test will determine whether they will be assigned to a  Vampire Hunter team where they will be paid a living wage with a raise; or if the test finds them not eligible to be a Vampire hunter they will have no choice but to remain a regular civilian with a regular job.

Individuals have to retake this test every year after they turn 18 to see if their eligibility status has changed. Once an individual has turned 60 they have the choice to retire or they can choose to keep taking tests to possibly become a Vampire Hunter.
