42-LOVE STORY

It is always said that 'Life is unexpected' and Chaeyoung Mina understood the really meaning behind this sentence.
They thought everything would be alright, they would be alright, they would be together soon but maybe life had different plans.....

"Yahhh Mina where did you go?" Chaeyoung yelled from the phone.
"Just wait a minute Chaeng" he could only hear her faint voice and all he can see is her ceiling through the camera, he sighed.

After a couple of minutes the phone moves with her face now visible through the screen video call.

"Where were you?" he asked as he placed his phone on a table balancing it properly so his face is clearly visible to her.
"Sorry sorry you just called so quickly, and I was a mess" she pouts, making him chuckled
"Didn't I told you you're always preety to me" he assures
"But still" she mumbled, he hummed in response
"I miss you" her eyes get teary and concerned yet sad face engulfed his expression.

This is their life now, Video calls.
Chaeyoung thought Mina will come back soon once her father is fine, but little did he knew things won't be the way they wanted. The thing which they fear the most happened.

Her dad didn't wake up that day, he is still breathing but now in coma.
And thus Rose and Jisoo decided to be here for their dad, for their company. To take care of both, both the things need them and Mina being a good daughter and a sister stayed back for her father and sisters.
Chaeyoung also wanted her to be there with her family. That's the priority, other things can take time to happen. Though it's taking a long time, it's been three months since Mina went to New York and yet no improvement in her father's condition.

Chae and Mina want to be happy, but they know not now but someday they definitely will and with that hope they call and talk for hours everyday. Talking about their days, worries and every other things.

Mina wanted to graduate with her friends and by now she knows, all knows this can't happen. College on South Korea already started while for Mina she took admission in a university of New York for her graduation. Even though it makes her so sad thinking she can't be with them, but she has to graduate anyhow. Everyone is sad but sometimes we have to accept the things even though it is hard to digest...

"I miss you too, we all miss you" he mumbles after a long pause.
"I don't know Chaeng how am I going to survive in that university without you, without everyone" she said
"Don't worry you will be fine ok" Chae assures
"I really hope so"

"And don't bully everyone ok?" he teased
"Yahhh I don't do that now" she yelled
"I know I know and also don't let anyone bully you" he said this time seriously
"Ofcourse, I'm a strong girl no one can harm me" she winked
"Yes yes"

"Tomorrow is starting right?" he asked
"Yup tomorrow" she sigh
"All the best for your new college and....." he stops in mid way making her raised her eyebrows.
"And?" she asked
"Be careful from guys, they will surely try to get your attention" he mumbled slowly not looking at her direction, she smirk keeping her phone on night stand.

"Why Chaeng are you worried, that they will gain my attention?"
"Are you being possesive" she chuckled
"No I mean, be away from them. Not every guy is good like me" he replied, she laughed to this making him smile through the screen.
"Don't worry no one can make me fall like you do"
"No one can take your place in my heart"
"And I still need my surprise once I'm back"

Mina glanced towards outside the big gate wide open, people entering, coming out in groups giggling, laughing with their friends. It makes her remember how happy she was with her friends back in Yonsei High. But now she is all alone and that's what she hates the most. She is not the one to make friends easily but she also don't want to be alone in this huge university.
