16- CONCERNED

Next day welcomed Chaeyoung with bright sun striking his beautiful face. He groned when his eyes opened. It's holiday today since last day was very tiring due to the prom night and thus today is rest for students.

He got up and leaned his back on the headboard closing his eyes.
And just then the first person he tought of

Mina

He opened his eyes and furrowed.

"What are you doing to me Mina"
"I don't know why I helped you yesterday"
"But..." he stopped and sighed.
"But I didn't like that guy, the way he touched you. I don't know what I felt, but it was not good"
"Maybe I'm a gentleman so I did this" he mumbled.

Just then he heard a knock on his door.
"Oppa are you awake?" Hanni's soft voice called him.
"Yes I'm up" he said. Hearing this the door opened reaveling Hanni with her usual soft smile.

"Good morning" he greeted.
"Good morning Oppa" she replied and sat on his bed facing him. She is smiling but that's not the usual Hanni smile and Chaeyoung perfectly knows his sister.

"Do you want to talk about something" he asked. She sighed and look at him.
"Yes" she mumbled. He hummed in response.
"About Mina" she further continued. Hearing this Chaeyoung stiffened his posture as he directly looked at his sister's eyes.

"What about her?" he asked.
"Yesterday you and her being partner" he can clearly feel sadness in her tone.
"Uhh that, actually we were not partner, but the situation turned out to be being like that" he shrugged.
"I know, I saw why you went to her" she smile a little.
"I'm gentleman though" he chuckled to lighten the mood.
"You looked really happy with her" she said.
"Happy? Maybe she was a bit different yesterday" he looked outside.

"Oppa" she mumbled and slowly held his big hands in her small one. He looked at her and waited for her to continue.
"I don't know what to say, but I'm your sister and thus I'm just concerned about you" she paused

"I don't want you to stop your feelings, I don't want to control you. But oppa I have been in that college for years now and I've seen Mina"
"She had more than 15 boyfriends for sure and no one lasted for more than a week I guess"
"I know if you develop feelings for anyone, you would be genuine, you would be real. But I don't know about that girl. I don't want thay girl to broke my brother's heart. I don't want anyone to hurt my precious brother"
"You are most important person to me Oppa, I can't see you like that when all that happened to me in the past, you never left my side. She is a bully, you know these people never change. They would never! her eyes tirned moist.
Chaeyoung gripped her hands tightly.

"So Oppa, I hope you will think before you do anything"
"And whatever your decision would be remember I would be always with you. No matter what" she smiled as her tears fell on her cheeks.
He removed his hands from her grip and caressed her soft cheeks, wipping her tears with his thumb.

"I know you are always with me. Don't worry, I don't think I'll fall for her, and if something is their I promise you will be the first one to know that" he gave her assuring smile. She smiled back and hugged him with her tiny little hands.

"How's the new collage Chae?" Chaeyoung dad who is back after a month from his bussiness trip asked, has the family is now sitting together having their breakfast.
"It's good Dad. I got many friends. And also I'm with Hanni as well" Chae replied.
His dad nod with a smile.

"Yeobo you know Mina? She is daughter of your friend Kim Soo hyun" Chae's mom asked while Chaeyoung and Hanni glanced at eachother.
"Huh yeah, she is daughter of his second wife right... I met her when her mom was alive, she was really small back then. After that I never got the chance" he said.
"But what about her?" he asked.
