Austin let out a sigh as he pulled up at your house to drop Autumn off for the night. He enjoyed his week with her, but had a lot on with work now this week.

He really wasn't ready to see you after the meal, especially as it had ended badly with him getting annoyed at you for bringing up your boyfriend once again.

He stayed in his car for a moment, but his little impatient princess started to kick around in the back excited to see her mom again.

He takes her out her car seat, holding her small and warm hand as they crossed the quiet road. It's not like it was busy of a Sunday evening, but he always liked to teach her she had to look both ways.

As he got a few paces closer to the house, he notices the bedroom window open and a soft glow of candles in there. He freezes as he hears the distinct sounds of the bed creaking, and the familiar sounds of your moans, a scowl forming on his face.

How the hell did he hear that at the damn front door?

"Great." He muttered to himself as he looks up at the bedroom window. Autumn softly tugged on his hand as she waited, her innocence showing as she was completely oblivious.

Austin was too busy being angry to acknowledge her little tugs, as rage went shooting through him as he heard those sounds escaping the bedroom, knowing it was Fin.. making you moan. Not him. Without another thought, he angrily knocked on the door.

The knock startled you, being so loud and sudden. But you knew it was Austin.

"Shit, that's Austin." You mumble to Fin, slipping out the sheets, cleaning yourself up a bit and adjusting your robe.

Austin could hear the shuffling coming from upstairs. His jaw clenched even more as he waited for you to come to the door, clearly irritated you had a been doing... that as he was coming to drop off Autumn.

You rush down and swing the door open, out of breath, red faced, messy haired and overall disheveled. "Hey, hey. Sorry I took a while, I was just.. peeing." You lie, feeling your small daughter cuddle your leg. "Hi angel." You chuckle.

Austin was clearly irritated as you finally opened the door, and spoke to him. He raised his brow slightly as you made up some excuse, his eyes meeting yours for the first time that evening, and he found it difficult to look away, even though he still wanted to smack you in the face at the same time. But he couldn't smack you.
Ever, he couldn't even bring himself to inflict pain on you, even if it was without malicious intent.

He mutters a greeting before Autumn hugged your leg, his heart clenching as she wrapped her arms around you.

"I.. uh. I'll come help you bring her bags in." You smiled politely, looking at Autumn.

"Go wait on the couch, darling. I'll be back in a second." You smile. Without another word, Autumn ran into the living room and instantly went to sit on the couch like you'd said, smiling as he sat down.

Meanwhile, Austin still looked irritated as you spoke. He didn't bother questioning you as you said you'd help bring the bags into the house, instead just turning around and walking back to the car in silence, expecting you to follow.

"Are you okay?" I ask, oblivious to the fact he hears.

Austin clenched his jaw at your question, irritation running through him. How could you be asking if he was okay? It was like you had no idea what he'd heard moments ago, like you hadn't been-

He didn't even bother to reply, he just grabbed the bags out of the backseat without saying a word.

You pause in the empty road.
