Chapter 7: yo ho ho.

As Pearl and Oliva stepped out from their portal, Pearl felt the uni-guardian training suit overtaking her usual battle armour. "You know, I don't think purple's too bad on you," Oliva stated, looking around, the pair trapped on a small island. A shattered raft near bye. Pearl looked at the gauntlet on her wrist, and she saw the dot that represented the crystal was miles away. "She couldn't have put us any closer to the crystal. How are we meant to get out of here?" Pearl asked, Oliva looking at the raft and the area around them. "We could use one of those massive leaves as a sail to get to that town over there. From there we could probably borrow a smaller ship. Unless your princess powers work here."

"They probably don't but that's a good plan."

"You stay on the run for a few years and you lear to be resourceful. Think you could get up there and get one of those giant leaves?" Oliva asked, Pearl forced an air current under herself, to push herself up to the leaf, plucking it down and handing it to Oliva who began to replace the tattered, decaying sail with the leaf. "It'll hold up a little while, but not forever. Let's hope you can get us over there in time." the pair leapt onto the boat, and Pearl began pushing the winds towards the land, however as they looked around, they found the shoreline being overrun with pirates and the pair looked at each other. "We got time for this Pearl?"

"Please Lilly, we've got time."

"Don't call me Lilly," Oliva responded as their raft started to fall apart, pearl grabbed her and managed to blast them onto the ship, she took her air crossbow into her hand and the pair looked around, completely outnumbered by pirates, all wearing the usual attire. "I wouldn't mess with me, or my friend."

"Or what?" one of the pirates asked as beth took a deep breath and she exhaled, causing the sail to move the ship forward slightly, causing it to crash into the pier, causing some of the crew to go overboard, she managed to create massive air gusts, getting the rest to fall off the ship. Pearl walked to the edge and pushed the last man off. "I claim this ship in the name of Crystaloplis." she looked down at the town and she stitch her hands out, moving them in circles, causing giant wind gusts to start picking up. However, she was able to direct them only at the pirates who where attacking, all in the typical pirate get up, they where no match for her air powers, and as Oliva leapt down, she grabbed one of the scimitars one of the pirates was carrying. She began slashing at the pirates, going for the legs, managing to cause them to collapse before being thrown into the ocean. Pearl dropped down and met back up with Olivia. "So, we've got a ship, we just need to know where to go," she stated, looking around. Parl took out her phone and pulled up a picture of one of the crystals she had. "Managed to snag it before we get sent to this wet waterland. Aqua would be so overpowered here."

"Let's focus on getting the crystal so we can go and get them and stop this cosmos guy."

"So we can just hand it off for Onyx to do, again."

"Not the point, we can't let him get to this crystal." as the pair continued to try and talk amongst themselves, one of the men from the town walked up to them. "Hi there, I just wanted to thank you so much for helping us get rid of those nasty pirates."

"Oh, it was no problem," Pearl responded, looking the guy straight in the eyes.

"I couldn't help but overhear you were looking for something." Pearl showed the man the picture on her phone. "It won't look exactly like this but we're looking for something like this. It's called a cosmic crystal and..."

"Oh that thing, yeah it's up by the volcano. We keep being attacked over it being up there but none have been able to actually get it and make it out of there so it's just kinda stuck in there." the man explained looking down at them. "Say aren't you two a little young to be doing this sort of thing?"
